RP Sample: It wasn't that Inkpaw sucked at hunting; No, it was more like... She wasn't interested in it.
Whenever she passed a sunny spot, she'd take a nap. When she was in the middle of stalking prey, she'd lose interest and wander off somewhere. It irritated many cats, but that's who she was and anyone who tried to tell her to change would only cat get a blank stare. Which was often a dead giveaway that you had lost her attention...

Your creation is great, but, while you can keep the name, it doesn't really fit in with our current naming system. Let's note that cats don't know what ink is, therefore, unable to use that for a name. Some prefixes that can be used for your cat could be Crow-, Raven-, Black-, Soot-, etc. A full list can be found on here on the traditional prefixes in the section for black cats.

After you fix this, though you don't have to, like I said before, just write another post and I can approve you!

It's perfectly fine for another Rook because they aren't in the same clan. Though, it's all completely up to you in the end. Cormorant works perfectly as it is a bird found in the wild. You're completely free to use it Fire~ <3 *cries* Now I remember who you are...

Reason why Clan cats don't know Cormorants

I could suggest: Black, Soot, Ash, Raven, Starling, etc. Something along those lines. If not, think about the texture of the fur. Such as, my cat, Bristepaw; Very spiky chest fur, and hair long the bridge of his nose.

As Fire has decided, her character's name is Cormorant after speaking to her in the Chatbox. Though, ailuronymy is one of the best sites to use when naming a character.
