Bloody Tears

The cold air of nightfall whisked though Honeypaw's fur, making her shiver. She wasn't completely sure what she was doing out of the camp so late, but here she was. ThunderClan had been growing and even thought Honeypaw was old enough to become a warrior, she had yet to gain her warrior name. It annoyed her, wishing that she had it. Sure her training was almost complete, but she felt like it should of been complete by now. She came to a stop at the edge of the Thunderpath, pausing in marvel at the fact that it was so quite. Monsters must of also have to sleep. Her ears however remained ready for any sound of that dreaded rumble that was the growl of those beasts. No way was she letting her guard down.

Occ: Yes. I am killing of Honeypaw. I've just grown a bit bored of her due to ThunderClan barely roleplaying. I was never keen on her in the first place and only made her because ThunderClan needed the cats. Well, ThunderClan is growing and I truthfully feels like Honeypaw is a bit of a Mary Sue with the whole 'I love everybody' thing. I am so sorry everybody. ;.;

On the other side of the Thunderpath, hidden in ferns slicked with mud and starting to droop, was a well muscled tom that looked fairly strong. An apprentice, who besides being muscular was still fairly small, by the looks of it. His amber eyes glowed in the half light of ShadowClan's marshy territory and he let out a low growl, keeping still as if he was hunting prey. This cat takes one misstep, they're dead.

Padding slowly out of the apprentice den, the moon sent a young she-cats pelt into brilliant silvery-white flame as she streaked out of the camp, ignoring the thorns and brambles that scratched her ears and snagged in her pelt as she followed the scent trail of her sister. She stopped after a while of running though, exhausted as she tried to catch up. I'll never find her! Never! she wailed silently, trembling as she looked around.

Honeypaw gently placed a paw on the Thunderpath, still waiting for the growl of a monster to start up but none happened. Suddenly, her ears flickered as she tasted the air, causing her to suddenly back up. "Who's there!" she called out with a hiss, her fur standing on edge. Her eyes were wide with panic, showing that she was unsure of what to really do. She always had the choice of fleeing backwards into her terriory if things grew harry, but she didn't see a need to do that. She was on her own side of the border and this cat wouldn't dare cross it nor kill her. It was against the Warrior Code! Besides, she wasn't a coward! She could take this cat on if she had too!

With a yowl Eaglepaw exploded from the bushes, launching at her with claws unsheathed. He slammed her to the ground, pinning her down with claws pressed to her throat. He glared down at her, his eyes blazing with furious hate. "You've met with a terrible fate, haven't you?" he asked, flexing his hind claws through the mud as he.. waited. Just waited.

Honeypaw let out a yowl when she saw the Eaglepaw charge at her from the other side of the Thunderpath, but she was unable to do anything before being thrown to the ground. She attempted to get up but at the feel of claws at her throat, she quickly settled down. Her eyes widen with fear as she watched the apprentice loom above her, swallowing. Oh StarClan, she was going to die wasn't she? There was no way this was happening...No...She quickly started to strungle at the thought of that fate entered her mind, her tail flickering. She wanted to yowl for help but she was afraid that she would die even quicker if she did. "Y-You can't do this!" she gasped, her voice holding a bit of a snarl as she glared at Eaglepaw. "I-I didn't do anything wrong! I remained on my side of the border! Y-You a-are the one that is breaking the Warrior Code! Y-You can't kill me!" Even as she snapped at the apprentice, her heart pounded. It was no use...She was going to die wasn't she? Oh StarClan, let somebody come and help her...She didn't want to die, not at the claws of this cat at least.

"You thought it. You were going to cross our borders, steal our prey. I'm not breaking the Code; I'm defending my Clan's honor." he hissed, staring down at her. Why doesn't she put up a fight? Are ThunderClan's apprentices that pathetic? he thought, ears twitching curiously.

"I wasn't! Why would I want any of your mangy crow-food? ThunderClan is strong enough on our own, we don't need to steal from cats like you!" She hissed, her eyes suddenly filled with fury. This cat was going to put the blame on her? She hadn't been doing anything wrong! She had been wondering what the Thunderpath felt like, nothing else! With a yowl of angry, she suddenly kicked up with her back leg, nailing Eaglepaw square in the belly. Her claws ranked down his underbelly as she attempted to dislodge him. No way was she going down without a fight after words like that! Them' were fighting words!

With a yowl he rolled off, laying stunned on the ground for a moment before scrabbling back to his paws and glaring at her with fierce hate. He leaped for her again, raking his claws across her shoulder and faltering as he landed, swaying slightly as the pain from his stomach coursed through him.

Honeypaw flinched as she stumbled backwards, feeling the claws rank her shoulder. Sure she had been lucky when she had knocked him off of her, but if they ended up like that again she knew she was done for. She glanced at the bushes that led into her territory. She could escape, she could run away but...What good would it do? If she was seen on the border again by this apprentice; he would kill her without a second thought. No, she had to end it here and now. She turned back to Eaglepaw, her teeth bared as she lunged forward and ranked her claws at his side as she darted back. Oh StarClan, don't let me die...She swallowed, attempting to stop her fear from taking hold of her. But if she was going to die...She wasn't going down without a fight!

Exploding from the bushes Featherpaw stared, her eyes wide with shock and horror. She stared between the two cats, flexing her claws as her fur started to bristle. Eaglepaw immediately turned to her, snarling. "You get to die, too." he said in a deep voice, before launching himself at Featherpaw, aiming his teeth towards her throat.

"NO!" Rage flashed though Honeypaw's body as she drove her claws into the ground and pushed herself forward, her eyes wide as she watched the ShadowClan apprentice fly toward her sister. She wasn't going to let Featherpaw die for a stupid mistake she made. Oh why did I have to go see the Thunderpath tonight? Honeypaw thought sadly as she came to a halt; right between Eaglepaw and Featherpaw. She felt the teeth that had been meant her sister hit her throat, and she let out a small bloody gasp. Featherpaw wasn't going to die...but it looks like I will. Pain flashed though her body as she gave her sister a sorrow-filled glance. "Run...P-Please," was all she could mange to cry out, having a feeling that tonight was truly the night she was going to die.

Yowling Featherpaw flung herself forward, yanking Eaglepaw off Hoenypaw. They tumbled across the ground, yowling and spitting as they clawed at each other until they scrabbled away from each other and stared at each other. "Now you're the one trespassing." she snarled, narrowing her eyes. Leaping over her, Eaglepaw twitched his ears at the sound of a monster coming by. Grabbing Honeypaw's scruff, he threw her onto the Thunderpath just as the monster streaked past in a flash of color. Bounding away without another word, Eaglepaw left Featherpaw in shocked silence.

Honeypaw had let out a small moan as she felt Eaglepaw let go of her neck, falling to the ground as she was forced to watch her sister and Eaglepaw fight it out. Each breath was more painful from the last, as she could feel herself slipping away. Even as she watched Eaglepaw suddenly race back toward her, she knew that there was nothing he could do to hurt her anymore. She was dying, and her eyes were closed as she felt teeth sink into her scruff. Was it the apprentice? Was it her sister? She couldn't even tell as she felt herself finally give out as she felt herself being heaved, everything going dark as she landed on the hard surface of the Thunderpath. So that is what it feels like... she thought to herself as she finally took her finally breath, just moments before she would of felt the monster running over her. One thought however stayed her her mind as she started to move on to StarClan. I am so sorry, Featherpaw...

Note: She was killed by Eaglepaw. She died just before the monster hit her.
