The New Kit

"Hi!" Amberkit purred, getting left behind in the topic. "We could hunt for frogs, I know a great spot!"

Sandkit, who had so nicely waited for Amberkit, finally said something. "Frogs? What are those?" He cuddled a little closer to Mintcloud, fully enjoying the warmth provided.

"Frogs are creatures that live by water or marshy areas." Lightpaw said "Shodowclan eats them, how disgusting!" Lightpaw made a face. "If you want to catch frogs, you have to stay in camp." Lightpaw said, now with a serious look on her face. "You don't want to get in trouble, trust me."

Looking at the kits sternly, Mintcloud mewed, "None of you are allowed to leave camp until you're an apprentice, do you have that clear? If I catch one of you, we'll have your training delayed!" Though she was being harsh, she was being obvious that she just wanted to keep the kits safe. If anything happened, well, there goes here part of being a good role model. Feeling Sandkit move in closer to her, the she-cat wrapped herself a little closer, just to warm the kit up a little more. Nodding to Lightpaw, Mintcloud looked to Amberkit, purring. It was nice to see the kits have fun, despite not being one of them anymore. "Now then, who wants to play moss-ball?" the silver tabby mewed, flicking her ears. Eyes shining, she remembered when she played this game when she was younger, always having fun.

Lightpaw smiled when Mintcloud started talking. "see, I told you you would get in trouble" Lightpaw laughed. Lightpaw remembered the time when she was a kit and Mintcloud taught her how to play. She mixed it up a little though. She had lots of fun.

Ooc: There are still frogs in the camp

Ic: "I won't ever leave the camp until I'm old enough." Amberkit promised, "I've heard of moss-ball, but I'm not sure how to play."
