Before the sun came up.

It was a beautiful morning in Riverclan camp. The sun was shining, the birds were chirping, and you could hear the leaves swaying in the cool breeze. But before the birds woke up and before the sun was shining, Lightpaw was walking around in Riverclan territory. She couldn't sleep so she decided to take a walk over to the river. She loves the sound of the waves. It calms her down and makes her feel happy and joyful. Lightpaw gathered some moss and made a bed by the river in the reeds so that if an intruder came, she could attack them without them seeing her. she settled down and closed her eyes. She heard a rustling in the bushes. Her eyes flashed open and she peeked her head out of the reeds, just in time to see a tail disappearing into the trees. Lightpaw stood up. "Who's there?" Lightpaw asked fiercely. She opened her mouth to catch the scent. She couldn't tell who it was. They must have disguised their scent somehow. Lightpaw unsheathed her claws and walked out of the reeds. "Who are you?" Lightpaw asked. Could it be a rouge? Lightpaw then saw a figure. Was someone pranking her? She heard a voice. Was it from the other cat? Or was her mind playing tricks on her? Was this whole thing a dream? An illusion?
