Thrushpaw fell quiet for a moment as he laid down next to Eaglekit. It pained him to try to talk about it, but at the same time, he looked comforted and tried to share that same reassurance with the small tom. "Cedarfur? He's in Starclan too," he mewed. "I didn't exactly know him too well. He was a very busy and was a fantastic warrior, but he died not even a moon ago. I bet he and your mother are watching us right now!" He gave a smile, but there was also some hurt behind it, yet it didn't seem to affect his mood very much. He was still fairly happy, and his stomach continued to growl for more food. He hadn't eaten much and the frog still looked dazzling.
