Sagestar laid in his moss nest, his entire den reeking of sickness. He laid here alone and made it clear that Nightwing and Mallowroot were the only ones who would be allowed to see him. His body was beyond hot and each breath was a heavy struggle. It wasn't really understood how he managed to get such a terrible fever in the middle of green-leaf, but we suppose its just because he's that unlucky. Next thing you know, he'll leave the den and get struck by lightning. Twice.
Either way, the tom was losing his fight against the sickness. After not too long while he was sleeping, he stopped breathing and became very still, staying like that for a good while before jolting again; though he didn't awaken. His body was cooler now and he'd wake up ours later feeling much better than before.
