SkyClan's Rebirth (Actual RP Thread)

Silentstar, walking through the moors of WindClan led Lavenderkit across the foreign territories. At first, she thought it would be better for her to take Lavenderkit with her to where the tom wanted her to go, but decided against it because it would be too dangerous. Besides... SkyClan may live on here through her kit. Drizzlekit had suddenly disappeared, and now Lavenderkit would be alone. The gentle breezes of the moor filled her ears with the light chirping of the birds from the forest. How she wished those times can come back when SkyClan flourished and everyone she loved and cared about were still with her. That was impossible. She can't go back to that. Pricking up her ears, she heard a small cough come out of Lavenderkit and the kit asked, "Mother... Where are we going?"

The words hit her hard. Sighing, she replied, "You're going to a place where you'll be nice and cozy with enough prey." Perhaps that would be true, perhaps it might not. It didn't really matter to her as long a Lavenderkit was safe.

"What about you? Are you staying with me?" Lavenderkit asked, hitting the leader with more questions. Striking her heart as if she had broken it, Silentstar lied to her daughter, "I'll always be there for you, no matter how far I am. Trust me."

Lavenderkit nodded, her eyes drowsy, before Silentstar looked around, her ears twitched as she tried to hear whether a cat was nearby or not. She smelled WindClan and hoped it would be someone friendly. Leaving her kit there and hushing her, the leader ran as fast as she could leaving her daughter wailing and crying for her to come back.

"I'm... Sorry Lavenderkit. I'll come back for you one day..."

A few moons had passed since Silentstar had left the forest, and everyday she's reminded of her daughter's pleas to come back. Drizzlekit had died back in the forest and now Lavenderkit, probably an apprentice by now, was far away from her. Being guided by Silentfeather, the StarClan cat through the world, the leader had wandered for so long, thinking she would never reach her destination. She remembered the day she had walked with her kits throughout SkyClan's territory, but now... All of that was gone. It was impossible to go back, besides she would never be able to go back to the forest - the clans would mock her for her choices. Then again, it wasn't her fault, a prophecy told her to leave, and in her mind, she had a feeling that WindClan and ShadowClan had taken the ancient territory of SkyClan. Of course ShadowClan of all clans would try and grab territory, but she felt that WindClan only grabbed it for the hopes of having Lavenderpaw feel at home.

As she continued to tread across the field, the leader stopped. What she saw in front of her was a beautiful forest that had such a bountiful amount of prey. A lake stretched gently in the middle of the forest; streams flowed through the roots of the trees; birds whistling their tunes; squirrels gathering acorns and nuts as they run from tree to tree; fish swimming as a small shadow through the glistening water; and the sun, emitting its warm rays onto the forest. Was this the end of her journey? Was it truly the place that was meant to be for SkyClan's new home? All she had to do was recruit cats who would be trustworthy and loyal as well as have a strong will and courage. As well as a few more traits here and there.

"The skies have fallen, but they will rise again... Silentstar mewed, remembering the tom's words. This was the last bit.

Silentfeather was actually amazed herself, though she never thought she would be able to go through with Silentstar. Nodding, the StarClan medicine cat vanished, going back to StarClan to join Coldheart, Larchcloud, Kestrelflight, and the others.

This was were SkyClan was to begin. They will rise again.

Crash! A silver tree-trunk hit the ground as the items inside spilled across the ground for everybody to see. A cream colored she-cat made her way around it, poking at the items with her brown hued paws as she let out a small sigh. Nothing. Cream let out a small growl as she whacked a ball that had fallen from the trunk across the alleyway, her ears flat on her head. She hated having to go this low for just a meal, but what else was she going to do?

Her belly growled at her in angry, demanding to be fed which causing her to return it with a growl of her own. Her belly grew silent with a small whine, causing her to smile in victory. However, it soon faded as she glanced around the alley, hearing the loud yowls of an Up-Walker as one poked its head out of a strange hole in its den and shook its hand on her in protest. What, was it annoyed that she had knocked over the stupid odd-colored tree trunk? She soon got her answer as she saw the Up-Walker pop its head back into his den only to appear a moment later, throwing something at the she-cat, who gasped as she quickly dodged the object.

Cream quickly turned to face what had been thrown at her, only to find an odd shaped thing.  She poked at it with her paw, it was hard and after a few moments she was able to flip the hard surface of it open, only to find it filled with odd white leaves type things. Odd markings covered it but as the Up-Walker let out another yowl at her she quickly lost interest in the object and fled down the alley and toward her make-shift home to avoid being hit by something. Oh how she wished she had a real home so she wouldn't have to dig around for food like she was doing.

However, her paws didn’t stop as she past her make-shift home, instead she started to flee the place she had always called home, the collection of Twoleg Places. She was tired of this place, she wanted to find a place where prey was an easy find, where no cats would bother her so as she fled the run down Twoleg Place she had fallen home for moons, and she grinned when she saw a forest ahead of her. There! That would be her new home! Not many cats dared live in the forest but she came to a sliding stop when she saw a grey she-cat not far from the forest, causing her to blink in surprise. No! The forest was going to be her home, and only her! A growl came from her throat as she slowly started to make her way toward the forest, hoping the she-cat wouldn't notice her.

Occ: Haha, oops. Went a little overboard, didn't I?

Prince sat on a tree branch, lounging in the thin sunlight that shone down through the trees. He noticed a cat not far off the distance, staring at the lake and the large expanse of territory. She looks so surprised. Has she never seen a forest before? he wondered as he watched her from above. Movement caught his eye as another, hostile looking cat approached farther off. With a large yawn he rolled over, turning his back to them. He shook the branch slightly and made the leaves quiver in the process, though.

Cloud wandered into the prey filled forest, it's lush green leaves dappling her snow-white pelt turning some of it a light grey. The fluffy she-cat padded through a clear small forest trail padded down from a lot of recent usage, red berries, purple berries, marigold and catmint littered these trails most commonly, there was a lot more herbs hidden in between the leaves and berries, but she didn't care as long as there were a lot of them. She took in some air and let it out in a small, gleeful sigh, the herbs smelt so sweet today. She lent into one of the bushes pushing her muzzle in the bushes and snapping the stem of a few marigold plants, she pulled out gripping to plants tightly, but not hard enough to ruin them. She continued to walk mindlessly until she stood at the edge of a small abandoned badger set that fell into the earth, seeming like an endless tunnel of darkness, Cloud walked in quietly and pushed her herbs around settling them in a small crevice, it smelt of herbs, she drank in the relaxing smell and walked back up to the entrance and sitting at the edge of it without saying a word.

Snake padded around the forest, his claws digging into the ground as he walked. His muzzle was stained with the blood of his most recent prey. As he arrived at the lake, he got a glimpse of other cats, but usually he didn't approach others. He dipped his head and drank his fill of water, some of the blood coming off of his muzzle. When he lifted his head he sheathed his claws then licked the dirt and blood from his paws. But he kept an eye on the other cats, not going to let them have a sneak attack on him.

A silver pelt flicked it's way across the forest ground, and to the edge of the forest near the lake that sat in the distance. The tom narrowed his eyes as he realized he wasn't alone this time of day wanting to get a drink from the lake. He slowly made his way up into the tree next to him without being noticed from the others, he glanced around not wanting to be around other cats,at the moment before he noticed a new cat among the grounds. Slowly he made his way over to the cat up in the trees, before jumping down in front of the she-cat, giving a hostile stance, "Who are you?" He ask in a low tone, to the mysterious she-cat.

Berry wandered around because she was bored. She saw other cats and approached. "Hi! Who are you?" She didn't seem mean or dangerous.

Muddy was up in his favorite tree. He looked down at the other cat. "I'm Muddy.And who are you?" He was a bit bored so why not be friends? He had nothing better to do.

Jo sat draped across a branch, watching the other cats in the area. Sometimes it was funny to watch them. It's not like she had much else to do other than hunt, and she was already tired of doing so; she wasn't hungry, anyway. The silver cat intrigued her. It's not like she hadn't seen any silver cats before, but she hadn't seen this particular she-cat. She saw a cat approach another cat in a tree; and another cat approach the silver cat. Leaping from tree to tree, she briefly passed the other cat in a tree before reaching one that was within earshot of the two cats. The one that had approached the silver she-cat was also silver; and it had hissed a hostile 'who are you'. The familiar yet faint scent of a Clan cat hit her nostrils. SkyClan; she realized. The tom that had raised her had drilled the name into her memory, it was the Clan he had come from. What's this cat doing here? The forest is that way.

A small growl came from Cream as she halted, her eyes flicking with fear. All of these cats...She just wanted to be alone! She slowly started to back up, hoping to find a new place where there wouldn't be so many cats but she soon froze. Her body suddenly didn't want to carry on. She was tried, she was hungry...She wanted to just lay down and sleep. She moved to the shade of a large rock and sat down with a small huff. Her yellow eyes scanned the clearing, daring any cat to come near her only if they wanted their ears torn off. However, her gaze soon halted on the strange silver she-cat she had first noticed and the tom that was facing her. What was going on there?

As soon as she snapped out of her daze, Silentstar looked around. Seeing a cream-colored cat trying to sneak by her without be noticed, the leader sighed. That cat's got to be kidding with her. Honestly, Silentstar needed this place more than any cat if she was to reform SkyClan to its highest. Wondering what she should do, the silver tabby thought that this cat would probably be a likely recruit - considering if they'd like that - seeing that she wanted the forest so much. However, the only problem would be them trying to take over. That would be a chance Silentstar was willing to take to have SkyClan rise again and go back to the forest to reclaim their territory. And the chances she would see Lavenderpaw again.

Quivering sounds were around as she was looking at the cream colored cat in her thoughts. Above her, leaves fell from a rustle that appeared to have come from a branch. A bit confused, she looked up, but no cat was there. Was it just the wind? Looking around again, Silentstar tried to locate where the leaves came from - it didn't take long, considering the cat's scent was around. Sighing, the silver tabby was hoping it would be a loner of some sort, but it just happened to be a kittypet. Of all kinds of cats, a kittypet! She couldn't stand those cats at all, considering how much trouble they gave her during her travels. Shaking her head, it seemed like seasons since she was in the forest. However, she considered taking the flame colored kittypet in, seeing how adventurous he was to explore the forest. No kittypet she knew would dare come near areas that didn't have Twolegs.

Hearing a ripple from the lake, Silentstar snapped her head back to where she heard the sound. Another cat... How many loners, rogues, and kittypets were around this forest? Focusing her eyes on the other cat, she could tell it was a black tom with golden eyes almost instantly. It seemed to remind her of a clan cat she knew back in the forest... Who was it again? Probably a ShadowClan cat - oh yes, Sagestar! She seemed to see a similarity between the two. Trying to concentrate even more, she noticed blood. Her eyes quickly widened in horror, thinking of the thought that he might have killed another cat. Then again, it didn't seem like cat blood - more like the blood of prey? This was an intriguing tom, she thought he might make a worthy and loyal warrior once he learned the rules.

Looking around once again, she saw a flash of a silver pelt flick across the forest towards the edge of the lake. Noticing his eyes narrow, Silentstar sighed. Did every cat suspect her of something or want to be alone just to get a drink? Blinking, she saw the silver tom disappear, making her wonder where he went. Perhaps he just went to a stream in the forest to get a drink instead? Hearing a low voice behind her, Silentstar didn't jump. Instead, she answered with an ominous cold voice, "Who might you be, to question me so suddenly?" Silentstar started, "You seem to be hostile because I'm new here? Is that something that you do to every newcomer around the forest?" Not turning around, the silver tabby sort of admired his valor to approach someone in such a hostile way. This tom could make a wonderful deputy if he was willing to follow the Warrior Code with his life.

Hearing branches shake above her, she could've sworn she smelled a faint layer of Clan scent that didn't belong to her. Looking up, Silentstar quickly located the other cat, a dark rosy red she-cat. This one was sneaky, trying to eavesdrop on such a level. A kind of trait that only clan cats would dare to use. Another sort of Clan cat? She didn't recognize this one, most likely from another generation before her. Silentstar could've sworn she saw this cat faintly before, but she couldn't remember. Obviously, if anything, she'd wish to have another cat that used to belong to the Clans with her. If this she-cat had Clan blood running through her, or even raised by a Clan cat, then this rosy she-cat had a chance to be in SkyClan - no doubt about that.

Seeing the cream she-cat once again, Silentstar noticed that she wanted to be alone, backing up before she froze. Wondering why the other she-cat had collapsed before trying to move to a large rock for shade, seeing the yellow eyes scan the clearing. Not caring about the other cats, Silentstar lifted her muzzle, trying to scent bird. It wasn't very long before she did, leaping onto a high branch. The bird was about the size of a normal sparrow. Unsheathing her claws, Silentstar stunned the bird before biting into its neck. Heading down, she leaped gracefully from branch to branch until she reached the cream she-cat, leaving the bird for her to eat. "Here, you need it more than I do," the silver tabby mewed before heading back to the silver tom.

Cream blinked as a voice shook her out of the small daze she had started to fall into. A small growl appeared on her lips, when she saw the silver she-cat, ready to snap at the she-cat...But than the strange silver she-cat left her with the bird. Cream's growl died in her throat. What had brought out this sudden act of kindness? Cream glanced toward the dead bird with a wary glance but slowly took a bite and chewed. The tangy taste rolled over her tounge as she swallowed, letting out a purr as she quickly dug into the rest of the bird, only looking up once at the silver she-cat that had given her the prey. She was a bit taken back that a stranger would hunt for her, seeing as most cats only cared for themselves. She had always figured that all cats were that way...But maybe not. Maybe she could grow to like this she-cat if the silver she-cat stuck around.

Prince twitched his bushy tail and pushed himself to his paws, trembling as a breeze shook the branch and himself. He turned, leaping from branch to branch, pausing to gain his bearings and gauge the distance to the next branch before shoving off, leaving claw marks in the branch he landed on and scrabbling to steady himself on the next branch, then leaping again. When he was close enough to the silver tabby, he half climbed half jumped down from the powerful oak, leaving claw marks in the deep mark and the musky, acrid scent of twoleg place along with the warm yet bitter smell of the twolegs he lived with. "Hello. What brings you to the forest? You sure don't look like a kittypet, but you smell like the wilderness. Where'd you come from? What're you doing here?" his eyes gleaming with curiosity and warmth; he didn't seem fazed at all at the arrival of this new tabby that, unknown to him, had traveled over great distances and suffered heart ache to find a new home amongst all these strangers. "You seem to be a good hunter Where'd you learn? Maybe you're thirsty." he offered abruptly, walking back to the oak and clawing moss off. Grabbing it in his jaws he hared down the slope towards the lake. After he soaked the moss he raced up the hill and set the dark, soaking ball down, panting from the race.

"And who might you be to question me when you have no authority here?" The tom growled, not even bothered by the cats cold voice. "This place is crowded enough as it is, we do not need any new comers." The tom growled again. "And Prey is not as abundant as it used to be. The tom said. He sat down as he watched the silver she-cat walk away from him, and go help a cat that honestly in his opinion should have been left for dead. Who was this cat? Why did she help others? It really confused him. Hail quickly stood again, giving a hiss to the new comer who approached the two silver tabbies, with moss.

A different cat appeared, though he looked fairly younger than most of the others. And stranger. The ginger tom slowly padded through the trees, ice blue eyes flitting around like leaves in a storm. Looking at every cat. Trying to stay in his own isolated patch of forest. He knew his pelt gave him away. But who could stop him from trying?  The young cat slunk towards the muddy banks of the lake. Sinking his claws into it, relishing the cool touch of it on his paws.

A little breeze blew by. Hoping for prey, he sniffed the air. His hopes sank when it was another scent he couldn't recognize. Someone else? Great. Less prey for the rest of us. Not like he could catch it anyways. Every time he tried, his back screamed pain. His back. That was what caused him so much trouble. If it was normal, he would still be with his Twolegs. Well fed. With friends to play with. And not having to look behind him every time there was a noise.
