The night is dark,
I wake up screaming.
I breath in deeply,
I had been dreaming.
You're still not here,
I'm safe for now,
sence the night I took a bow.
That night you had come crashing in,
you never tell me where you've been,
but I could tell you had been drinking,
I wonder what I had been thinking.
You yelled at me and hit me hard,
saw my last glimps of the front yard.
I kicked your leg,
you pushed me down,
the words would spread all over town.
I pushed you out and slammed the door,
I do not love you anymore.
I see the gun,
it's in your hand.
I do nothing but watch and stand.
I hear the gun shot,
"I'm safe." I thought.
There's sudden pain inside my head,
I wake up screaming....
or am I dead?
