Lightkit is sooooooooooo board

Lightkit sat at the entrance of the nursery doing absolutely nothing. All of her friends were apprentices now. It must be awesome to be one! Lightkit looked at the younger kits playing. Then she remembered playing with Graypaw when she was a kit. If only Graypaw could be here now. She would be sooooo happy. Just then someone ran into her. Lightkit turned around. "Hey watch were you're going!"

Duckpaw stopped and looked at Lightkit.
"Oh, sorry Lightkit!" he said sadly, his ears flattening against his head.
"Really, sorry. I was just looking for Lichenpaw and guess I was in a hurry.."

Lightkit then realized who she was talking to. "Oh no I'm sorry I didn't mean to be rude. I was just I don't know." Lightkit sighed. "It's just sooooo boring being stuck with theese kits. Everyone that I know are now apprentices." Lightkit looked up at Duckpaw. "It must be cool to be one."
