Something I don't get

This is just a general question. When cats go to StarClan do they stay the same age? For example, if a kit dies (very sad event) and goes to StarClan, does it get to grow up. If it wanted to become a warrior would it grow to become a certain age and live like that forever? It would kind of be unfair for it to have its hopes and dreams crushed because it was the life StarClan gave to him. Would an old cat stay old because that would suck because it couldn't hunt and things like that. What would you think is best?

It's repeatedly shown in the books that StarClan cats stay the same age they were at their time of death.

Older cats or disabled cats also appear to become younger enough to hunt while the disabled are healed. It is shown in Crookedstar's prophecy that kits who die go to their warrior age, which seems to be the case with elders as well. That's why Bluestar lost her white hairs and never seems to grow. However her kit, Modality confuses me. Perhaps there are exceptions.

I know somewhere in Cats of the Clan, Rock says to Mosskit, Adderkit, and Blossomkit, "There is a price to be paid in being a kit forever." But then in Code of the Clans, (specifically, code 12, "A Loss for All Clans") when the kits drown, Graywing sees them in StarClan as the cats they would have been. But then again, eye colors, genders, and pelt colors have been changing changing from book to book, and dead cats aren't staying dead (Heavystep). So this kind of stuff really is not that surprising to me.

Still, now that I think about it, this may be something we need to know for future references when role-playing Starclan cats.

Well with 2 different answers I'm more unsure. I think it would depend on the situation. Or possibly the cat decides what will happen but wouldn't all cats chose to become warrior age? It's kind off there best or strongest age. Also would would be counted as an exception so the cat can stay the same age or different age?
