Lichenkit's MCA Ceremony

Morningfur stopped at the mouth of highstones, looking up at it. She paused for a moment, then looked down at Lichenkit. "Come, we must hurry!" she said, disappearing into the blackness.

Morningfur padded through the darkness until she turned a corner and saw a brightness up ahead. She sped up, checking if Lichekit was still behind her.

Lichenkit stayed right behind Morningfur, making sure his nose was always brishing against her tail.

Morningfur padded into the cavern with the moonstone. She stared at it I'm awe, as she always did for a moment, then turned to Lichenkit. "Are you ready?"

"Yes, Morningfir!" he spoke softly, nodding quickly

Morningfur stood in front of Lichenkit, looking down at him. "Lichenkit, is it your wish to enter the mysteries of StarClan as a medicine cat?"

"Yes ma'am!" he chirped happily, nodding eagerly.

Morningfur nodded. "Warriors of StarClan," she began, looking up at the stars through the hole in the roof. "I present you with this apprentice. He has chosen the path of a medicine cat. Grant him your wisdom and insight so that he may understand your ways and heal his Clan in accordance with your will." She looked back down at him. "From this moment on, you shall be called Lichenpaw. Lay down next to the Moonstone and touch your nose to it, and you shall dream of StarClan."

Happily, Lichenpaw sat down, stretching and pressing his nose against the rock, instantly feeling a wave of cold.
