Mosspaw's Battle Training

After Possumtail had eaten a morning meal and laid in the sun awhile she went to find Mosspaw, whom she had told that she would have battle training today. "Mosspaw! Time for more training!" She called out when she had spotted the apprentice. I wonder if I am not pushing her too hard. The thought quickly ran through her head but she knew that Mosspaw was eager to learn.

OOC: First off this post makes Possumtail look like a slacker.

Mosspaw's ears pricked up at the sound of her name. She bounded up to greet Possumtail. "Let's go! What are we going today?" Mosspaw streaked past Possumtail to wait at the entrance to the camp.

"Battle training." Possumtail answered when she had caught up. She trotted all the way to the sandy hollow where she would be training Mosspaw.
"First thing you need to know is the front paw blow. You will be practicing on me but keep your claws sheathed!" She instructed.

OOC: Assuming you have read through those links this will be a bit easier to explain.

When using a move you first type what your character is doing/thinking then in bold you type the move you are using, your opponent, and how much HP and SP is dealt out.
After that you put HP and your SP and put your opponents HP and SP.

EXAMPLE~

Possumtail leaped onto Mosspaw. This may only only be an apprentice but this she-cat was bigger than her. But Possumtail was in luck. Her thick her and bones made her heavy and would take Mosspaw down.

Possumtail is using Leap and Hold (-9 HP and -10SP)
Possumtail:
HP- 45/45
SP- 150/160

Mosspaw:
HP- 11/20
SP- 80/80

Also since this is training any harm that has been inflicted does not affect your character as it would in a real battle

Mosspaw countered by slashing at Possumtail. Even though Possumtail was slightly smaller she was a very good fighter.

Mosspaw is using Front Paw Blow (-4 HP and -5 SP)
Mosspaw:
HP: 11/20
SP: 75/80

Possumtail:
HP:41/45
SP: 150/160

"How was that?" Mosspaw asked Possumtail.

"Good! You have that move down. Next we will be doing Front Paw strike. It is similar but you have to be quicker with this move. Go ahead and try it on me." Possumtail meowed.

"Okay." She said. Trying to go faster, she batted at her again. She
hoped her blows were hard, but not hard
enough to hurt her mentor.
Mosspaw is using Front Paw strike.

Possumtail:
HP:35/45
SP: 150/160

"Like that?" Mosspaw looked at her mentor for confirmation.

"Yes. Very good." Possumtail nodded. "For the next move we are going to slide under this bush." Possumtail ran and slid under the bush. As she did she clawed at the branches. When she was out from under the bush her pelt was covered in leaves. "Just like that. It is a Belly Rake. You try!"

Possumtail used Belly Rake on bush (-10 HP and -10 SP)
Possumtail
HP- 35/45
SP- 140/160

Mosspaw ran and slid under the bush. As she did she clawed at the branches. When she was out from under the bush her pelt was covered in leaves.

"That was great! For this next move we are going to use this tree." Possumtail continued the training. "We are going to use Leap and Hold. On a cat you would leap onto the back then dig your claws and teeth into their pelt."

OOC: For this you have to hit the Post Reply button. Then you will be doing an Effect dice roll to see if this move will last for 1 or two moves.

Mosspaw bunched her muscules and got ready to leap up on the tree. She lept up and dug her claws in to prevent her from falling.

Mosspaw used Leap and Hold on tree (-6 HP and -10 SP)

"Good job! You can hop down now." Possumtail meowed. "Just one last move." She suddenly turned and ran into the bushes. Aster a moment she came back out at a different spot and pounced lightly on Mosspaw. "That move is called Lightning Strike. We seem to retreat but then come back on the unexpecting opponents!You try it!"

OOC: That move does take two turns. I was doing a simple post.

Mosspaw sprang down from the tree. She then ran into one bush.

So how you do a 2 turn move is very simple
First you post like you did "Mosspaw is charging Lightning Strike" Then I would post something then you would post again with Mosspaw using lightning Strike. You almost had it.
so if you just edit out the last part of the post above then you can move it to a new post.

IC: Possumtail waited. She knew Mosspaw could jump out at any second. She scanned the undergrowth all around her.

Mosspaw suddenly jumped out from another bush. She lightly leapt on Possumtail before releasing her.

Mosspaw is using Lightning Strike (-15 HP and -35 SP)
