The Apprentice Ceremonies of Ivykit, Frostkit, Amberkit, and Swiftkit

Lunging forward, Kestrelfight's fur bristled with sudden anger. This apprentice could not be a warrior. "Wait!" she screeched, her paws carrying her to the front of the meeting, right beside Flamestar. "Ivypaw must be my apprentice!" Kestrelflight wailed with her head thrown back. Kestrelflight's eyes were wild, yet sure. If the clan didn't believe her, she would have no problem in making up a prophecy. She needed an apprentice now. She could feel it in her bones.

OOC: I hope this works ;_;

Ivypaw stared at Kestrelflight in shock. How did she know I wanted to be her apprentice? she wondered.

"What do you say, Flamestar?" Kestrelflight asked, looking at Flamestar. Her eyes portrayed the need of her adopted father to agree.

Amberpaw watched the whole thing with shock. "What's going on?" she asked, her gaze traveling from Ivypaw to Kestrelflight.

Frostpaw was shocked. "Are you okay?" she asked.

Ooc: Lol, if I were you I would have looked at my avatar before reading this post and got really nervous x3

Ic: Flamestar nearly jumped out of his fur as Kestrelflight came flying towards them with a crazy look in her eyes and screeched. "Your apprentice?" He repeated her words, obviously still in shock. "Did you have a sign? Did Starclan speak with you?" He asked in a quieter tone,looking at his adopted daughter. Though, as he looked hr straight in the eyes, he saw something. What was that, that twinkle in her eyes? Behind all her tiredness, all the sudden stress that worried the leader; there, yes there: Was that of hope and knowing? Some how he felt she knew she was right.

"Very well." He murmured, looking back towards the apprentices. "Tonight, Ivypaw will go to the Moonstone with Kestrelflight and see if Starclan truly wishes for her to be Medicine Cat Apprentice. I believe that my medicine cat knows what she's doing, and will guide this young apprentice to fulfill her rightful destiny, as the path of a Warrior may not be the correct one for her." He paused, eyes locked suddenly on the shocked apprentice. "Ivypaw, do you wish to accept?"

"Yes!" Ivypaw yowled. "I've secretly been wanting to be Kestrelflight's apprentice.. but.. well.. you know," she confessed.

This made the leader chuckled. "Very well. Kestrelflight?" He meowed, turning back to the medicine cat with a nod of approval. "She's all yours."

Ooc: I just realized it sounds like Flamestar is selling a child to a hooker.

Ooc: Why are you selling me to a hooker? ; ;

Ic: Ivypaw's eyes sparkled with delight.

Amberpaw walked over to Ivypaw and licked her shoulder. "Congratulations!" she purred.

Ivypaw touched her nose to Amberpaw's ear. "Thanks! I wonder what Kestrelflight will show me first!" she mewed, bouncing around the camp.

Ooc: Sorry Kes, you're a hooker now :l
