Riverclan Alone

Redfeather lay in his nest, on paw firmly over his muzzle. He snapped awake, eyes flying open in the darkness. Only a dim light from the moon abled him to see anything. He narrowed his eyes and padded out of the den. For some odd reason, the warrior couldn't sleep.

Rustfang was sitting, not far from the warriors' den. One of his black ears twitched as Redfeather emerged.
"Hello, Redfeather." He meowed calmly. Pale moonlight bathed the clearing, and wispy clouds scuttered lazily across the sky, threatening to cover the moon and Silverpelt. Rustfang's shape was outlined sharp against the horizon, and he stuck out like a fire, bronze pelt almost glittering.

Redfeather jumprd a little; he had forgotenn Shadowclan was used to the night. "Hello, Rustfang." The red warriors mew was sleepy. It was still weird having Shadowclan in their camp. They didn't really know the territory and couldn't swim, so they couldn't help catch prey. And they obviously hated fish. Redfeather glanced up at the moon. Why was he even awake?
