The Sanity Coma II: There is No Beauty Left Here...

"Silvershade!" Embershade gasped. "How long were you looking for us?"

"I haven't been looking for you. I followed Falconfang." she mewed, her eyes sparkling with amusement.

Falconfang lay shaking on the branch, glaring at Silvershade. He hated that these two cats were seeing him terrified of heights. "Then why don't you climb up them?" he retorted, hissing unhappily.

"Embershade backed up as she was hissed at. "Sorry." She muttered, leaping through the trees to get back on land. "Let's go!" She called behind her.

Falconfang sighed and shook his head; he hadn't hissed at Embershade, but he decided to let it go, instead staring at the jumps he had to make. "... Can't I just walk there?" he called out hopefully.

"How do you suppose that's possible? There isn't cross able land that leads there, except through the trees." Embershade meowed, peering at her surroundings.

Falconfang sighed and gritted his teeth, not particularly happy with how this was going... still, he jumped for the branches all the same. Each time he got a little better, although he still looked very awkward while in mid-air and every time he landed, it seemed like he would slam into the ground below. Finally, however, he reached Embershade with his fur fluffed up and his whole body shaking.

"Good!" Cheered Embershade, tapping him on the shoulder. She jumped out of the tree. "Now, lets get out of this death-trap." She meowed, turning towards him.

Falconfang nodded and jumped out after her, stumbling a bit as he landed, but luckily he didn't embarrass himself further by falling on his face. "Where are we going now?"

"I don't know. And, I'm sorry, Falconfang, for falling down there. I didn't mean for you to come after me." Embershade replied, scuffling her paws.

"It's not your fault," Falconfang mewed, licking his chest fur in embarrassment, waiting for Silvershade to follow them.

Embershade smiled weakly, tired. "What now?" She asked, looking around the area.

Falconfang shrugged, returning his gaze to the surrounding area. What would they do, exactly? "I don't know," he finally mewed. "What can we do? We don't even know where we are. It could be dangerous out here."

"Maybe we should split up? No, that's not a good idea..." Embershade suggestion. "When will we "wake up" from this nightmare?" She asked, pacing back and forth, her fur starting to fluff out of confusion and worry.

"Maybe if we just close our eyes...?" There wasn't anything else to suggest. Maybe that was their best option anyway.
