One kit to another

Midnightkit laid on her back, outside of the nursery. She had a ball of moss caught in her claws, and she was squeaking and wiggling her little paws around trying to get it off of her claw. So far, the only successful thing she had done was cause a scene.

Dark blue eyes stared out cautiously from the dark of the nursery. He didn't understand why the other kit was outside and clawing at a ball of moss. How can moss hurt her? he thought to himself, confused. Why would you attack something that can't hurt you?

OOC: You and your long siggies. Lol

"Ha!" Midnightkit said, finally succeeding in throwing the moss ball off of her claw and a few feet from the mouth of the nursery. Rolling onto her paws, Midnightkit dropped into a playful crouch, pretending the moss ball was prey and stalking it.

OOC: Pft. S'not that long.

IC: Spiderkit's blue eyes narrowed as he studied the other kit. Ah! he thought. She's practicing! Maybe I should join her? He quickly shook his head, as if to dislodge the idea from his brain. No, I can practice on my own... She'd probably want to talk. Or attack me.

With a small growl, Midnightkit pounced at the ball of moss, trapping it underneath her paws. Once she held it there for a moment, she slung it back towards the nursery, it landing right in front of the opening.

Spiderkit quickly backed up, accidentally bumping into a sleeping queen as he did so. He started, scared, and bolted out of the nursery, running past the moss ball and kicking it up into the air. He stared with wide eyes from the shadows of the Jaggedrock, drawing himself in, as if to make himself even smaller. His mind was racing, voiceless whispers of terror ringing though his head.

As the small figure darted past her, Midnightkit watched from where she sat crouched. Once he stopped, Midnightkit slowly started to pad softly towards the kit, keeping as low to the ground as she could. She didn't want to startle him.

The tiny kit glared at the approaching Midnightkit, eyes sparking with the instinct to protect himself. A tiny, slightly high-pitched growl came from the scrap, warning Midnightkit not to come any closer. This is why you don't like others, chided one of the whispers, clearer than the others.

OOC: ouo You made another psycho, didn't you?

Midnightkit stopped, frightened. her tail twitched uneasily behind her as she watched the other kit. We shared the nursery together; why don't I remember his name?? she questioned herself.

OOC: He's a psychopath, yes. Didn't you read his creation? ;; But actually, he doesn't develop the symptoms until app - late app age. This is just me being weird. x3 maybe i could make him psychotic too.... xD And sorry, my muse isn't cooperating. //glares at Jim

IC: Spiderkit still sat drawn into himself, dark eyes watching as the other kit stopped moving, her face and actions showing confusion, and fear. She should be scared, the voice whispered again. N-no! Spiderkit thought furiously. I... I'm not going to h-hurt her...

Midnightkit laid down where she was, wrapping her tail around her and having it settle onto her paws. She stayed there, hoping that, if she didn't make any sudden moves, the kit would leave his hiding spot and talk to her.

Spiderkit finally shut out the whispers, slowly uncurling himself and taking a tentative step out from the dark of the Jaggedrock. His eyes were still wary, still ready to try and protect himself best he could if provoked.

Her ears perked up slightly as she saw signs of movement and smiled slightly to herself. I wonder why he's scared of such a small thing like me.. she thought to herself, taking in his size. From this distance, she couldn't tell how big he was, but their sizes couldn't be much different from eachother.

Cautiously, Spiderkit padded further out of the shade, infinitely cautious as he approached the other kit who, as he got closer, he saw was a bit larger than he was. His eyes darted about, taking in every little detail he could, including observations about the kit before him. Finally, after a while, he deduced the other safe enough to relax, eyes finally letting go of their prey-like look.

Midnightkit raised her head slowly off of her paws, watching the kit with calm eyes. When she saw him finally relax, she gave him a wary smile in hopes that it wouldn't scare him off again. Spiderkit... Midnightkit thought, finally placing a name on his face.
