| A Land of Conquest
A Land of Conquest is a game where you use posts to build a nation, and conquer other nations. The rules are posted here, so make sure to check back to this topic as the roleplay begins.
Before I explain, here are the guidelines.
We will NOT be accepting sue nations, or bad roleplayers. We want people to create vivid nations with nice qualities, or even evil qualities. We coo' with dem commies. But no one liners, please. Sleepy and I are not as forgiving as Moon. =u=
And with that, I will explain how the RP will work.
The game has 5 statistics: Offense, Defense, Economy, Population, and Square Mileage. Each nation will have to keep tallies with these categories during every post. You use posts to raise the pointage of these categories. For example:

As you can see, every country starts with 5 points for Offense, Defense, and Economy, 5,000,000 people, and 15,000 square miles. Points boost per post, but you choose what to put your posts towards. So, let's say...

Suetopian president Ruffled Drags declared that the army of her country should be trained better. Setting aside funds from tax payer's money, she put them towards training.

As you can see, sometimes things like that cost money, so if money ever becomes something you have to fork in for needs, you have to deduct one point from Economy.
Now. You may be wondering what these stats do. Well, here you go:
Offense (ARMY STRENGTH OR ARMY SIZE): Your offense makes sure you can attack other countries efficiently. Your offense starts off with 5 points, which is capable of dealing just .5 points worth of damage to a country's defense. As you can see, that is not a lot, so you must raise it by contributing points to Offense. Each point towards offense does an extra .2 of a point's worth of damage to one's defense. Be careful, though, because if you lose an attack and your defense goes to zero, the country you attacked can take your land. If your attack is successful, you can add 500 square miles to your total square mileage. You may attack someone multiple times, though attacks weaken your defense, so watch out. Raising offense costs 1 Economy point. If there are multipel countries in an attack, you can freely choose who to attack.
Defense (NATIONAL GUARD): Your defense makes sure you don't get taken over. Your defense starts off with 5 points, and can be deducted if your country is attacked. If your defense hits 0, you have to subtract 500 square mileage from your total square mileage. Raising defense costs 1 Economy point.
Economy: Economy determines the happiness of your population. It can be lowered if you spend money on other stats. If your economy hits 0, 500 people leave your country for each turn your economy is 0. If your population goes as low as 1000, your country automatically dissolves and you are out of the game.
Population: Your population is the number of people you have in your country. You can add 250,000 people for each post you dedicate to population. For every 1 million people you get, you can expand your country's square mileage by 5000 square miles. If your population hits 1000, your country dissolves and you are out of the game.
Square Mileage: This is how big your country is. This makes sure your country can last failed defenses and attacks easier. For each post you dedicate to Square Mileage, you can add 5000 square miles. For every 50,000 square miles, however, your defense goes down by 1 point.
Aside from these categories, you can freely interact with other countries as you would if it was the Assembly or something. Make alliances, a capital and cities, a form of government, ruler, etc. etc.

Ruler*: Arlen Remnas (Prime Minister) : The Prime Minister's job is to create laws alongside The Committee, to control the army, and to approve of Committee members chosen by the people.
More Government Positions*: The Committee: A group of 100 politicians that make laws, appoint judges, and handle issues.
Mer: A mayor figure, who handles minor issues and the government within their appointed cities. The Prime Minister is the mer of Echon.
Geography: Magna is a temperate country with a mainland and multiple islands. It's mainland has an incredible mountain range, the Skarms, and it's largest island holds the nation's capital. It's largest island is in the middle of it's others islands, however, and due tot his, it's other islands contain forts and some militaristic cities and establishments.
History of Country: Magna was founded by scientist Arlen Remnas and his group of 50 colleagues, who refused to return to their homeland and instead made a village on it's mainland so that they could study the area. Later, more villages popped up in the area, and they agreed to join with the establishment, named Lemnia, and form a nation. Arlen was named it's first leader, and made the capital an establishment much bigger than Lemnia, named Echon.

Type of Government: Monarchy
Capital City: Debario
More Cities*: Hamliar, Niageo, Liano
Ruler: King Derrik Berwiniam II(King): Derrik's job is to control the army, make laws alongside The Knights, he visits the towns to collect taxes.
More Government Positions*: The Knights: This is a group of 10 people that mainly just read the laws the king makes and they approve or disapprove them, either way they post them, but they do tell their king thei opinions in a council held once a week.
Geography: Armadias is a very cold mountainous region which usually stays below 50 degrees year-round. The region is a hard battlefield for enemies but for Armadians it's nothin'. The cities are mostly forts which are dug into mountains, but Debario is pretty much a mountain itself.
History of Country: Armadias was once a small village, but King Derrik Berwiniam I rose up and made the village the capital and founded other cities, when the population grew and grew. The Knights were formed when King Derrik II was in rule, because he wasn't the eldest or wisest of leaders. How's that?

Type of Government: Empire with underlying Democracy (much like the Roman Empire)
Capital City: Fairdell
More Cities*: Merribourne
Ruler: Meg Depois
More Government Positions*: N/A
Geography: Rayley is mostly green hills and moors. The shoreline is rocky, what there is of it. The climate is typically moderate, leaning towards the cold and constantly precipitating. Heavy snow falls during the winter months. Fairdell is located towards the land border, furthest from the coast.
History of Country: Rayley began as a group of nomads who finally settled. It was a family with a controlling father, and they settled on the site where Fairdell would soon rise up. The country grew, spreading wildly. It started as a democracy, but the population grew too large for that, so the eldest male declared himself sole emperor, and the peace has been kept since.
