IC: Mosspelt nodded and chewed up another small amount of marigold and placed it under her chin. "The scratches should be fine" he meowed

Embershade awoke. "I feel a little better now." She muttered.

"I bet, but I'm probably not gonna put you in any patrols for a couple days" Mosspelt meowed, meaning it toward Embershade

"Okay." Embershade huffed. "I might as well catch up on some sleep." She limped slowly into the warriors den, trying not to open up her wounds. She curled up and slept.

Ic: Lionstar sighed, nodding to his deputy. "That should do it for now." He meowed quietly.

The leader padded away and sat beneath Highrock, looking up at the sky. "Leaf-bare is being harsher than I expected so far, and it's only just begun." He commented.

Dewclaw thanked Mosspelt with a blink and listened as he and Lionstar spoke. I'll have to start working really hard, now that Embershade's injured. And I thought that with her around, things would get easier. But that's what I get for thinking like that! Thinking back, she realized just how much everything had changed lately. She wasn't the out of control apprentice she used to be, that's for sure.

Embershade overheard the conversation. Wow! Dewclaw has to do a lot! I have to get better, quick! She thought. Then she closed her eyes to sleep.

Mosspelt nodded and returned Dewclaws blink with a nod and dashed out of the gorse tunnel to go on a patrol
