| Emberpaw looked at the bush. She dropped into the hunter's crouch. She stalked it and pounced. Her paw hid the forest floor and the mouse went scurrying away. "Mouse dung!" She crossly meowed.

| Emberpaw saw the squirrel. She dropped into Hunter's crouch and stalked the squirrel. She made sure not to brush her tail on the ground. She got as close as she needed to be and pounced! She saw the squirrel stiffen and it escaped from her paws at the last moment. "Fox-dung!" Emberpaw meowed, upset. ______________________________________ First life: (Inactive)

| Mosspelt meowed "It's okay, we all weren't masters at hung at first, it takes practice" he meowed then smelled the air then stiffened when the smell of mouse reach his nostrils "Watch me" he whispered lowering himself close to the ground the muscles tensing under his fur as he talked forward then he leapt hitting his paws against the earth. He glided through the air and landed squarely on the mouses back his picked it up and meowed "Try one more time"

| "Okay." Emberpaw replied. She stiffened. "I smell another squirrel!" She whispered. She dropped once again into Hunter's crouch, her tail off the ground. She stalked it then pounced! She saw the squirrel stiffen as she pounced. She landed and the squirrel was racing up a tree. "Fox-dung!" She meowed. | The squirrel kept climbing and so did Emberpaw. Emberpaw chased the squirrel and pounced once more to get it. She missed again and decided to climb back down the tree to Mosspelt.
