Nightpaw sat in the corner of camp, and licked her paw, and drew it over her ear, she gazed a the stars wondering what StarClan was like. Her Blue eyes wondering when she saw a figure stirring on the other side of camp.She squinted trying to see who it was...

Of course, it was Gingerpaw who bounced towards Nightpaw. She was pretty bored with not being able to train with Feathersong right now, and Nightpaw seemed so lonely. "Hey there, Nightpaw! Whatcha up to?" She asked with a delighted smile stretched across her face.

A rustle crackled from some bushes a few fox lengths away from Nightpaw and Gingerpaw. A pair of one green and one blue eyes shone in the darkness, and a figure crawled out of the bushes, though he was crouched, as if about to pounce. Though, the tensed cat was no threat. It was just Rustpaw, moping towards his friends. He sat down next to Gingerpaw, ears laid flat.

Nightpaw brightened up. " Hey Gingerpaw!" She smiled when Rustpaw came over."Oh, hey Rustpaw!" She searched his face, he wasn't happy. Nightpaw frowned narrowing her eyes. "Are you alright?" She leaned closer, her eyes questioning.

"Fine, except that everyone has had training except me." he snorted, blinking. A sharp scowl crossed his face as he frowned. He hadn't even been out of camp for the first time.

Nightpaw tilted her head. She was almost done with her training, but she wouldn't mock Rustpaw about it. "Aw, that sucks." Nightpaw's ears dropped in sadness for her friend. "Why don't you ask Sagestar for a mentor change?" She asked, her voice rising in hopefulness.

"Maybe I can help with some of your training," Feathersong meowed, her soft blue eyes filled with warmth. "Gingerpaw is pretty much done with her training, so I'll have some free time."

Nightpaw's heart leaped, She hadn't seen the Deputy appear."Hey Feathersong!" The apprentice glanced over.

Gingerpaw gave Rustpaw a curious look at the thought of not having training. Why hadn't Tigerthorn trained him? That was just weird. Suddenly, the voice of her own mentor made her jump around to face the deputy. "Feathersong!" She shouted. "That's a great idea! Rustpaw, you can train with us!" She mewed, turning back around to face the apprentice.

Rustpaw's ears perked. He swiveled his head around to face Feathersong, hiding his startled-ness with a poker blank face. "Really? Can I?" he pleaded.

"Of course," Feathersong meowed with a soft, warm smile.

ic: Nightpaw smiled. "Great! Now that is solved!" She got up and stretched then glanced around. "Anyone know anything to do?" The She-cat sighed. "I have nothing to do." She huffed loudly.
