Coldhearts Kitting

Coldheart awoke with a sharp pain in her stomach. They're comming. she thought. "Silentfeather!" she yowled. she laid on her side in pain, waiting for the first kit to come. "Flamestar!" she yowled. "Come quick!" she cried out.

Flamestar pushed his head into the nursery entrance and gasped. "They're coming? Already?!" He breathed, before rushing out. "Silentfeather!" He hissed quickly, poking his head in the medicine den. "Coldheart it kitting!"

Coldheart howled in pain. She lifted her head. "The first one's comming!" she yowled. She felt the first one comming, which brought on more pain. She laid her head down, breathing heavily.

Dawnpaw heared all the comotion and came rushing out of the apprentice den "Flamestar! What's happening?" sha mewed, while panting.

"Coldheart is kitting!" He gasped.

OOC: Echo, Komai, whichever. Now lemme get to this!

Silentfeather mewed "Coming!" briskly she said "Flamestar, can you find her a stick before the pain comes so she Coldheart can bite on it? Dawnpaw, grab me some ragwort leaves. They're tall shrubs with yellow flowers! Those are to help Coldheart keep her strength up, even though maybe a little foul tasting."

Flamestar nodded and looked for the nearest thick stick. Luckily, since Skyclan lived in a thick forest, it wasn't hard to find one. He plucked it up in his teeth and rushed back to Coldheart. He nosed it over to his mate.

Coldheart nodded and she bit on the stick, "The first one's comming!" she breathed through the stick. She bit down on the stick, and the first kit slid out. It was a beautiful orange-red and white pelted she-cat. Coldheart loosened her grip on the stick, and bent over to look at the small helpless kit.

Silentfeather took the kit and licked it ferociously.

The kit began to mew, looking for her mother's milk. "I think that's the only one..." Coldheart said, grabbing the small kit with her tail and bringing it over to her, and she began licking it.

"Alright. Dawnpaw, where's the ragwort leaves I asked for?" Silentfeather mewed.

Coldheart soon after was deeply sleeping with her kit.


Timeskip~

Coldheart awoke the next Sunhigh. "Flamestar! It's time to name our kit!" she called. She looked at the little orange and white kitten. How adorable that little thing was, sound asleep.

"Right here," Dawnpaw mewed while giving Silentfeather the leaves.

"Took you long enough." Silentfeather mewed and handed the leaves to Coldheart. Running back to her den to get juniper berries, she crushed and chewed the two herbs together and beckoned Coldheart to eat it.
