Nightkit watched the new apprentices, face blank. She wished she could be an apprentice, but at least her sister still had the name "kit"..for now.

Berrysplash padded over to the small kit, and licked the fur on her head. "Don't worry Nightkit, you'll be an apprentice soon enough." She mewed.

She nodded. Not like she said much, but rarely ever talk back to anyone. Nightkit wished her heart would let her. "I know.", The black she-cat mewed softly.
