Border Patrol

Sunlight had finally found it's way past the endless barriers of leaves and branches. It spilled over the silent camp, illuminated the dew-painted grass in a array of silvery droplets. A morning breeze drifted past a certain cat's nose, and pulled him out of a dreamless sleep.
Frozenfoot peered out of slit eyes, gradually lifting himself out of his mossy bed. Peering around him, he saw the still, rigid bodies of his warriors, still asleep.
My, did they have a late hunting session last night.. Good StarClan, they'll hate me for bringing them out on patrol! The deputy's whiskers twitched in amusement at this. Casting a last, longing glance at his moss bed, Frozenfoot slipped outside into the clearing of the camp, and seated himself.

Lionstar padded out of his own den and looked over at Frozenfoot. "Good thing I woke up early. Mind if I join you on the dawn patrol?" He asked.

"Frozenfoot! Frozenfoot!" The small figure of a kit dashed out of the nursery and tackled the deputy's hind leg. She wasn't too far away from being an apprentice. "Pheasantsong-" a yawn errupted from Dewkit's contrasting pink mouth, cutting her sentance short. "-wouldn't let me see you last night 'cause she said you might be tired and grumpy. She said I could come say hi in the morning before you left for patrol if I was up early enough. So I stayed up all night." She smiled a tired smile, but it was all worth it to her- to see the deputy and the leader. Oh, the leader! "Hi, Lionstar! I didn't see you there."
OOC: lol. Not joining the patrol.

Lionstar's eyes widened in surprise. "Er...Hi. What was that you said about staying up all night?" He mewed in confusion.

"Pheasantsong said I couldn't say hi to the patrol coming back, so I stayed up all night in the nursery waiting for morning. And now it's morning." She said, not sure what Lionstar didn't get.

"Stayed up all night..." He sighed. "Kits need their sleep. Don't do that anymore, okay? I'm sure if you really try, you can wake up early enough to say hi." Lionstar mewed. "Why don't you go get some rest? You already said hi to us."

Mosspelt slowly stood up his eyes sagging and tail drooped he sulked out a huge yawn erupted from his muzzle. He sulked to the fresh-kill pile and grabbed a rabbit and sulked to his favorite spot nearly missing the leader and deputy "Morning Lionstar, Morning Frozenfoot"

"Good morning, Mosspelt. Are you in the mood for a patrol?" He asked.
