First RP of the Reboot :D

Feathersong sat lazily by the warrior den, her fluffy pelt rustling as a gentle breeze blew by. She laid on her side, soaking up the sunlight as her gleaming eyes looked forward to the full fresh-kill pile. A hard day's work... She had been hunting all morning, and it was tiring, but it was worth it to see the Clan well-fed, with prey leftover. Her eyes darted to Sagestar's den, just to see if the leader would come out.

Tiny paws batted the deputy's side. "Cedarstar! First to kill a monster!" came a small voice. Cedarkit was practically on top of the larger cat, "attacking" her.

Well, she did in fact have a mighty-good sense of timing, because Sagestar was in-fact just appearing, but not as she intended. The leader instead padded through the camp entrance, letting out a long yawn. He had taken it on himself to walk around the entire length of the territory, combing over what the dawn patrol had already done, simply to have time to himself. and nao he was tired. fawk. night owls, ftw.

The tabby caught sight of the deputy, surprised at the prey she caught in the middle of the green-leaf sun, and nodded to her; smiling softly as he noticed one of the kits who had escaped the nursery.

Feathersong turned and saw Cedarkit. She let out a small giggled and got up. She smiled at the kit. "You'll make a strong warrior!"

"Really?" Cedarkit asked, wide eyed. "Stronger than Sagestar?"
As if on cue, he saw the leader. "Ooooh! There he is now!" he exclaimed with awe filled eyes.

"If you work hard enough, then maybe you can be even better," Feathersong smiled, turning and seeing Sagestar. "Hi!" she called to the leader. |D.

Sagestar paused, hearing his name be called. He wondered for a moment if he should just nod again and head off, but decided he had some time to spare. "Good morning, Feathersong." He walked over, a soft smile on his face, turning his attention downwards. "Cedarkit. What's this I hear about outdoing me?" He asked in a teasingly, playful tone.

Feathersong let out a small purr. "Good morning, Sagestar."

"I am going to be stronger than everyone! Feathersong said so!" Cedarkit exclaimed, tail swishing to Feathersong's direction.

Feathersong laughed. She liked the kit's enthusiasm. "I said you could be, if you train hard enough."

"He has a lot of potential" Sagestar purred and tried to look stumped, "I might have to start watching out for this one..." Playfully, the tom reached forward and batted Cedarkit behind his ear.

"Me too!" Feathersong meowed playfully. "He just might beat me to becoming leader!"

Cedar batted at the paw that cuffed him as a playful recoil. "Where are the other kits?" Cedarkit meowed, looking around the fairly empty camp.

"Sleeping?" Sagestar pulled back a paw and fought the urge to yawn, feigning a scornful look at Cedarkit. "Staying with their mothers? Not wandering around camp and getting under everyone's paws?"

Mountainclaw padded out of the warrior den, yawning. "Hey." he meowed as he went over to the others.
