Gingerkit and Littlekit's Apprentice Ceremony

Shadowstar had already gotten the kitties when she jumped onto the large rock that looked over the camp. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather underneath Jaggedrock for a clan meeting!" She yowled.

Gingerkit padded out of the nursery with a large bounce in her step. Today was the day! It was time for her ceremony! She was finally becoming an apprentice so that she could actually leave camp. That was going to be the best part, leaving camp. So many adventures! :D

Sagewhisker, the total pimp, padded out into the clearing. An eager look was on his face as he was excited for the kits.

Littlekit groggily pawed his way up. He had been playing an really wanted sleep... was that a ceremony Shadowstar was calling? Littlekit slowly padded out of the nursery, the sunlight's warmth covering his fur as he sat by Gingerkit and looked up at Shadowstar, his eyes shining in the sun's rays.

Gingerkit glanced at Littlekit with a giant grin. "Aren't you excited, Littlekit? We're becoming apprentices!" She squeaked.

Shadowstar looked down at the kits. "We have gathered today to make these two kits apprentices. Gingerkit, from now on until you receive your warrior name which won't happen until after Sage becomes leader ;w;, you will be Gingerpaw. Littlekit, from now on until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Littlepaw. Your mentors shall be Sagewhisker and myself," She mewed.

Littlepaw nodded, smiling. His eyes shining as he turned to Gingerkit. "Yeah! Too bad we'll be deleted in the reboot and never be seen again |D

Sagewhisker beamed, actually was hoping that Shadowstar would give him one of these small kits as his newest apprentice. He padded over to the newly-named Gingerpaw, a smile on his face as he bent down and touched his nose lightly to hers. "Hello, again." He said.

Gingerkit quickly reached up and touched noses with Sagewhisker, her face beaming just as well. Today was one of the proudest days in her short history. "Hello, Sagewhisker! Can we go do something now? Like, out of the camp? It's so BORING in here!" She whined as if she hadn't gone through this ceremony at all.

Shadowstar quickly jumped off the rock to touch noses with Littlekit. "Hello there, Littlepaw," She purred.

The young warrior purred and nodded, "Alright. I can show you the rest of the territory now." He meowed in agreement and padded out twords the exit, giving a small nod to Shadowstar as he walked by.

Littlepaw touched noses with Shadowstar, smiling. "I can't wait!" The apprentice wanted to start his training as soon as he could.
