The Hottest Day of Greenleaf in Windclan

Without warning, Willowstream woke up, almost jumping to her paws she was so startled. In a sleepy daze, she looked around the den, wondering what had woken her. When she could see no immediate danger or otherwise, she realized her pelt felt sticky and uncomfortable. Her flank twitching, the tortoiseshell cat hauled herself to her paws and exited the den.

Once she was out, she finally understood what was bothering her: the heat. And the sun was still rising.

Foxleap wearily padded out, not knowing what had woken her up. She looked up at the rising sun. It's so hot.... and the sun is still rising...
She looked over, seeing Willowstream. "Hi," she meowed padding over.

Shiningheart stayed in the den.Her super long fur bothering her increasingly. So hot! she complained to herself

Willowstream turned in delay to see Foxleap coming towards her.
"Hello," she mewed in a voice softer than she normally used. Swallowing, she smiled. "It's very warm this morning."

Bluefur muttered something, dragging him self out th e warrior den. "Hottest day ever." he groaned.

IC: Foxleap looked up worriedly at the sun. "Yeah..." she meowed, agreeing with the medicine cat.

Seeing the other warriors coming out to the center of the clearing, Willowstream got an idea.
"We should go out and collect as much water as we can now, while it's still somewhat cool," she proposed. "That way, we can stay in camp and try not to waste too much energy."

Shiningheart nodded and licked her chest a few times to cool off before she exited the den to help her clan mates.

Foxleap nodded. "Yeah. I can go out and help, too," she suggested.

Bluebreeze nodded. "I'll go, too."
