Lost and Found

Slash had been walking for what seemed like a lifetime and she could barely feel her paws anymore. She soon began to notice that her body was beginning to sway unsteadily. She was growing tired and having second thoughts on that little escape of hers.

Just then she came upon a river, a perfect place to rest. She shuffled over to it's edge, lowered her head to drink, and she suddenly lost her footing. The she-kit slammed into the water, flailing her limbs in an effort to escape. As soon as her head surfaced she let out as load a yowl as she could manage, but would anyone be able to hear her?

IC: Echopaw pricked her ears when she heard someone yowl for help. She went towards the river to see a kit! Echopaw looked around to see if someone was going to rescue the kit before diving in to help.

OOC: Well Panther offered to help, but I suppose you can since they're not here...

IC: Slash just couldn't move anymore, her body was completely out of energy. But she could have sworn that she had seen a cat on the shore...

IC: Echopaw grabbed the kit, gently biting the kit's scruff, before dragging the both of them to shore.

The she-kit gasped for air as she coughed up river water. "T-Thanks," Slash whimpered. She looked up to see a strange cat before her, "Y-You must be a forest cat," she tried to scuttle away, "my daddy said to watch out for you guys..." she added

Slash considered the cats words for a moment. "I want to get as far from there as possible," she meowed, pointing her dotted tail towards the two leg place. She then tilted her head to show the wound on her ear, that was now continuing to bleed
