A lost kit found

*A small dappled tabby kit lays on the grond, her eyes have just opened a few hours a go, and she is starving. She mews for somone to help her*

Creamstripe, for the first time out of camp after she had her kits, padded through the forest. She heard a mewling noise from a nearby bush, and walked over to it, staring. She nosed through the bush, finding a dappled tabby kit. "Why, whoever'd do this?!" she mumbled to herself, and picked up the kit by the scruff, and began taking her back to the camp.

Minkfur ran to his mate. "Who's this?" He mewed

"A stranded kit. Smells nothing of another Clan, so I believe his parents may have been killed," she mewed through the bundle of tabby fur.

Minkfur sniffed it, "Smells a bit like two-legs" He mewed eyeing the kit weirdly. "Are we going to take it?"

"Why not? It's very skinny; i doubt it's even tasted milk yet." she mewed, looking concernedly at the kit.

"Hmm... I bet no, lets get it into the den."

Creamstripe picked p the small kit, and walked over to the nursery. She set down the tabby kit. "Maykit, Icedkit, Duskkit-- play nice. This kit was abandoned; and we're taking it in in SkyClan, and I have extra milk; so let's say that she's your new sister."

*The kit purred and squeaked weakly,* I'm Sunny

Minkfur followed Creamstripe "Hello, young one"

"Sunny. I like that. Well, if you're to live here, you'd need a bit more of a traditional name. You can be Sunnykit." she mewed, smiling, and licked back a tuft of fur sticking up on the tabby's head.

Suddenly a large white kit tumbled over out of one of the other nests. "Hey! Who are you? I'm Coldkit! You must be new here!" Coldkit mewed happily, prancing around Sunnykit and sniffy her every now and then. "You don't smell like us. Are you Creamstripe's kit?" A paw clamped on his tail and dragged him backwards. "That's enough Coldkit. I don't want you to frighten her. Sorry about that young one. He's very...energetic." A pretty silver tabby with green eyes looked at the kit from her own nest. She glanced at Creamstripe. "Are you going to adopt her, Creamstripe?" She asked curiously.

"Why shouldn't I?" she mewed, her eyes glowing softly in the shadows of the nursery.

Maykit looked funny at Sunnykit. "Hi, i'm Maykit!" she mewed, her crooked tail sticking out to the side awkwardly.

Minkfur rubbed on Stormfur "Yes I think so... Right Creamstripe?"

"Mhm."
