Visiting the Kits

Dawnlight padded outside her den, and over to the fresh kill pile to grab something for the kits. She looked around and picked up a big frog. She went over to the nursery and set down the frog. She poked her head in checking for the kits, "Hello?" She asked

OOC: hey kits D: post in this topic! meaning, calling all kits named Pondkit, Shadekit, and Spiderkit! ;u;

Gingerkit poked her head up when she heard Dawnlight calling for the kits. She was hoping that the others would wake up too, since it was obvious that the medicine cat wasn't just calling on her. "Hello Dawnlight!" She squeaked as she jumped up from her place in the moss to bound over to the she-cat.

"Hey Gingerkit, I brought all of you a frog to share." Dawnlight mewed as she padded fully into the den. "Where are the others?"

Shadekit landed on Dawnlight's back. "I'm right here!" he giggled, smiling. "Now, Pondkit and Spiderkit, I don't know. Maybe they're sleeping." He flicked his ears towards two balls of fur.

Dawnlight was shocked when the little kit landed on her back. "Shadekit you are going to make an excellent hunter when you become an apprentice. I didn't even hear you coming!"

"I'll be the best hunter EVER! Better than Sagewhisker!" He gave a faint, wicked smile [nothing bad, just wickedlyyy] and jumped down.

Gingerkit turned and looked at Shadekit. "No, you can't be better than Sagewhisker! He's the best!" She squeaked, defending her best friend.

Pondkit lay curled up in the back of the den, as if sleeping. But, she was awake, and listening to the others talk. She rather preferred listening quietly to having to talk to people. She curled up tighter when the others started talking about her.
