My opinion:

Spottedleaf-- who the heck was she? When I started reading the first book, it was like she was there.. then she wasn't. There was no development at all and I didn't even know that Firepaw/heart/star/cat/creature liked her until suddenly everyone was like "I LOVED THE PART WHEN HE FELL IN LOVE WITH HER!" and I was all like "He did? o.o" You don't know anything about her other than she suddenly really likes him... after she's dead. Like, really??

Yellowfang-- She is my absolute favorite <3 Mainly because she is simply a grumpy old fart who knows what she's doing and she takes pride in her work. She was one of the few who really seemed to follow the warrior code, even after she had kits. The reason I say this is because she knew how bad her crime was, and she paid for it.. harshly. Although, my most favorite feature is that she is the boss and she lets everyone know it. She was always certain with whatever she did and didn't let anyone tell her otherwise~

Littlecloud-- Now he's my next favorite |D I guess because when you first meet him, he is just a helpless little apprentice who was sick and fragile and just.. adorable ;w; then he turned awesome after committing to Starclan even through the toughest times of Shadowclan's history with the epidemic and the death of his best friend.

Cinderpelt-- Just... awesome. She was trained well and it was evident that her accident with the monster had humbled her and made her a great and mature medicine cat, especially after the death of Yellowfang ;u;

Jayfeather-- no.. just no. I'm sorry, but when you have a cat with powers, it's gone too far. He's a grumpy little 'Starclan blessed' cat who has nothing better to do in his life than complain about what he can't do. I don't exactly know how he is later in the books because I just couldn't get through them to tell. I was sick of his attitude and just couldn't read anymore past the second book of that arc o3o;

EDIT: well, I guess since I'm on a roll and have only left out two medicine cats, I might as well do them too cx

Leafpool-- I didn't like her. I liked her better as an apprentice who merely wanted to stick to the code and be awesome at Cinderpelt's side. But once she became an older apprentice and a full medicine cat, her character went down the drain. She started acting nothing like she had. Her nervousness turned into stupidity and just ruined her entire career. Then the whole thing with Crowfeather was just plain stupid. Simple as that. I'm glad she gave up being a medicine cat.

Barkface-- Well, I don't exactly know much about Barkface other than the fact that he was a very kind and patient medicine cat. I'm sure he was pretty awesome too since he seemed to know what he was doing~

I'm going to be honest, I thought Spottedleaf was a dude at first until they specified her gender by hasty love plot device.

i like Jayfeather partly because i like when he goes back in time to Jay's Wing and the half remindes me of my dad not blind but super grumpy!

SpottedLeaf randomly comes up in about 6 pages, then dissapears. She gave no impression when she was alive. To like her or not? It was only when she was dead you really discovered who she was. And why did she love Firepaw/Heart/Star so much? She died really early in the story so why does she have so much spotlight in the books? I agree with Shadow, I love Yellowfang. She just really developed a character that gave us her personality. :)
