Icepaw and Shiningpaw's Asseessment

The member 'Zombie_Icepaw' has done the following action : Dices roll

He soon came across a burrow of mice. They were sleeping soundly. He blinked at the burrow's opening, before shooting forward, half his body in the hole with his back legs out so he could pull himself out when he got his prey. He crawled out backwards, dragging a plump mouse with him.

He dived in again, this time multiple squeals and rustling noises came. A minute later,he dragged out another plump mouse. Behind him, a smaller one scurried away sneakily, without the apprentice even knowing.

Icepaw buried the prey and turned around just in time to see the last mouse skittering away across the moor. He bolted after it, before pouncing and snapping his jaws shut over it's back. Breaking it's spine, he put it with the rest of his prey. That's 4. He thought. I'll get a few more then head back.

Icepaw raised his nose, looking around. There wasn't a lot in sight. He traveled a bit farther, the wind chilling with cold air as night drew near. Finally, a strong smell of large bird hit his nose. Hawk! He thought with a gasp. He followed the scent, quickly spotting the large bird plucking some worms from the ground. If he was still a kit, he'd be dead if this thing saw him. But he was bigger now...he could catch it! Right? He crouched, before springing into the open, hissing. He landed on the bird's back, and felt the beat of strong wings and could hear it's angry screeching cries of protest. He dug his back claws in the ground to keep himself from lifting into the air. He lifted a paw, aiming for it's throat, but the Hawk snapped at him, so he had to jump away. The bird flapped it's wings, starting to take flight.

With a growl, Icepaw launched himself at it again, snarling and fangs aimed again for it's one throat organ that let it breath...and live. His jaws again snapped against nothing but air. The hawk dived at him, but he was ready. He aimed again with his claws.

He launched at it in mid-air as it dived at him. In a flash, he drove his claws across it's neck as it flew past. The hawk hit the ground with a thud. Picking up his prize, Icepaw brought it back, digging up the rest of his prey and dropping it all in a neat stack by Butterflystar.

Occ:ice it goes till noon not almost sundown.

Ic:butterfly's tar followed intently as her apprentice stalked and killed the prey. As sun high came closer she started giving them more room till she headed back to camp to wait

ic: Icepaw brought all his prey back to camp, making two trips. One to gather the small prey, and the other to drag the hawk. "How'd I do?" He asked his mentor when he returned.
