Foxpaw's hunting and border patrol.

Stormeye sat right outside the camp, waiting for his apprentice to come. He was trying to figure out what they would do, and he came up with the idea of showing Foxpaw the territory and teaching her how to hunt if they found prey. He was nervous thought, as this was his first apprentice and he did want to make Butterflystar and Runningfoot proud, mostly if it would help him become deputy. He looked at the sky, hoping that Foxpaw would come soon so that they had a lot of time for the training.

Foxpaw rushed out and pounced on her new mentor's back, "Hiya, Stormeye!" she laughed, "What're we doing today?"

Stormeye glanced up at his apprentice before shaking her off of his back with a small laugh. "We are going to explore the territory, but if we find prey, which I bet we will, I will also teach you how to hunt."

"Today's gonna be perfect!" Foxpaw squealed, her eyes shining. "I'm gonna catch the biggest rabbit you've ever seen!"

Stormeye laughed as he turned, and rubbed the tip of his tail on Foxpaw's head. "I'm sure you will." He padded away, only looking behide him a few times to make sure the apprentice was following him.

Foxpaw followed lightly, watching for whales rabbits

Stormeye soon stopped when they reached a river, the border of RiverClan and WindClan. He tasted the air, only smelling the scent of RiverClan, which was quite fishy, but no prey they could hunt. "What do you smell, Foxpaw?"

IC: Foxpaw took a sniff, then took a step back with a disgusted look on her face "Eww...err... fish?"

Stormeye nodded. "Yes, that is the smell of RiverClan, which my mentor was from..well...both of them."

"What's next?" Foxpaw asked

Stormeye glanced toward Fourtrees, and started padding that way. "We'll go to Fourtrees." As they drew closer to the four oaks, Stormeye caught the scent of rabbits. He froze, flicking his tail at his apprentice to stop. "Rabbits." He turned to his apprentice, his icy blue eyes shining. "We'll have to make this quick." He dropped into a hunting crouch, "For hunting, you want to do this, then get as close as you can toward it, then leap! Also, don't forget that rabbits are fast so you might have to chase after them. Would you like me to try to get one to show you how it's done?"

occ: I guess you already know how to use the dice and use this as you have been a warrior two times. =p

Foxpaw nodded, dropping after her mentor and as light as a feather, she sneaked up to it. The rabbit was only about a squirrel-length away when she pounced to kill it



"Caught it!" Foxpaw pranced in a circle, the fat rabbit hanging from her jaws

Stormeye smiled at his apprentice, when he noticed another rabbit, which was quiet fat, not far from them. He dropped into a crouch, he padded toward the rabbit, before leaping at it. He easily landed on it and killed it with a swift blow to it's neck. He picked it up in his jaws, glancing at Foxpaw. "Butterflystar will be happy with us bringing these rabbits back to the camp! Perhapes after I show you Fourtrees and the ShadowClan border we can hunt some more."
