IC: Tornscar was apparently there the whole time. He didn't like the idea of being led by Coldpaw, but didn't object

Coldpaw nodded. He led them around twists and curves, eventually coming to a bloodstained clearing. The grass was flattened against a tree where he was thrown, and there was a slight scent of Riverclan(Singethorn).

Sunnypaw wanted to crinkle her nose agianst the fishy scent, but kept alert for any fresh scents.

Without hesitating, Raincloud immediately walked around the clearing scenting everything. She smelled a familiar scent that she recognized all too well. "Riverclan," she muttered under her breath. Riverclan had been enemies for a while but now that Sleepystar was dead they had no reason to fight, did they? And why would a single Riverclan warrior travel so far into Skyclan territory to attack a Skyclan warrior and apprentice? It made no sense! Raincloud padded around the clearing, flicking her tail in frustration. She scented the very edges of the battle field, trying to pick up a scent trail, but couldn't. "Coldpaw, which way did your attacker flee!" she demanded.

Cloudpaw had sniffed around for any old scents too but all he caught was the one in the circle. He looked up to sniff in the trees to see if somehow she had climbed up there to get away, but there was nothing "She disappeared" He whispered in confusion to Tornscar

"Cats can't just disappear" Tornscar whispered in reply to his apprentice. He sniffed around alittle too. Surely there was something Cloudpaw had missed

Sunnypaw did as well, doing her best to stay away from the small pools of dried blood.

Coldpaw lowered his head in shame. " I-I don't know..I ran away first..."

Sunnypaw turned to him. "It's ok," She mewed, "Everyone gets scared."
