Coldpaw's Battle Training

Raincloud stuck her head into the apprentice's den looking for Coldpaw. It was past sunrise and most of the cats were probably awake by now. "Coldpaw? Are you in here?" she mewed

ooc: This is why you're my favorite mentor...we get everything done in like 2 or 3 days XD

ic: A tail poked her shoulder. Coldpaw was behind her, tilting his head. "I'm right here." He mewed in puzzlement. "What do you need?"

"Oh there you are," Raincloud purred. "Today we're doing battle training," she explained. "Follow me." Raincloud padded out of camp.

ooc: yay i'm a good mentor :D

Coldpaw unsheathed and sheathed his claws in excitement. This is where he learned to fight! He followed, keeping pace with Raincloud.

Raincloud stopped when they were some distance from the camp. "OK, first you'll do a Front Paw Strike. In a real battle, your claws would be unsheathed, but for training they'll be sheathed," she explained. "Whenever you're ready."

occ: you dont have to use the battle system since i know you know how to use it.

ooc: k. Warning, he is merciless x3

ic: Coldpaw nodded, facing his mentor. He lunged forward, lashing a paw hard against her head. "Like that?" He mewed innocently, taking no notice of how hard he attacked.

Raincloud stumbled a bit under the force of Coldpaw's attack. "Good strength," she mewed. "Now Belly-Rake."

Coldpaw nodded, growling before quickly snaking under her, pushing his paws against her belly fur before shooting away and whipping around to face her. If his claws were unsheathed, he could have torn her belly open.

Thank Starclan his claws were sheathed Raincloud thought. "Leap and Hold," Raincloud commanded not wasting anytime.

Coldpaw instantly leaped forward, grasping her back and holding her shoulders one with most of his weight.

Sunnypaw was watching from the shadows. "I wish Creamstripe would teach me battle moves soon," She thought, "I don't want to get behind Coldpaw, then he'll scorn me even more. . "

Raincloud stumbled under Coldpaw's weight and she had to dig her claws into the ground to keep her balance.

He hopped off easily. "Anything else?" he asked, sitting down.

"No that's all for today," Raincloud mewed sitting up. "But before we head back to camp," Raincloud began, turning to where she had caught the scent of a familiar cat. "You can come out of hiding whenever you're ready, Sunnypaw."

Coldpaw flicked his ear. "Sunnypaw? What are you doing here?" He mewed, but not angry like, more confused.
