coming into camp

Butterflystar ran into camp with the kit in her jaws.

The kit squealed happily as he swayed in the leaders jaws "Cool! its so much space and warm!" he ruffled up his own fur in joy.

butterflystar set the kit down "glad you like it" she purred "the nursery where you will stay is over there" and she pointed over to a small closed in place "beside the rock is my den" she said showing her the rock.

The kit purred and marched towards the nursery and yelled "Hello!" he meowed and suddenly saw other cats and scampered behind Butterflystar.

"its ok" she purred "they wont hurt you, maybe a little fun and game" she said.

The kitten peered from behind Butterflystars leg, his brown eyes large.

A tortoiseshell and white she-cat was crossing from the nursery towards the medicine cat den. She mewed a hello to Butterflystar and kept walking, until suddenly, she stopped. She looked over, peering closer, and noticed a small kit she had never seen before. The medicine cat turned and took the few steps towards her leader.
"Who is this?" she asked gently.

"Um, uh, erm." The kit didn't know his name.

"im not sure his name yet" she said then turned to the kit "this is willowstream our medicen cat, she helps us when we are hurt" she purred.

"Hurt? Willowstream? funny name" he laughed.

"dont make fun of her name because that is a normal name, mine s butterflystar" she said giving him a stern look "your name will soon be that way to"

"I didn't mean it in a bad way!"exclaimed the kit.

"but still be kind to your elders" she said "now go play" she said then the name popped in her head like fairy dust "foxkit" she said.

"Who's that?" he asked.

"you" she said and nodded her head towards the nursery
