Coldkit shook his head. "I don't know. Do you think maybe his family missed him up there? Stormwing once told me their mother, father, and brother were dead, and now that Stormwing is dead to, maybe it's better he doesn't have to suffer anymore. I promise, he's in a better place." He mewed with a sigh. "My mother also once told me, 'If a loved one is lost, don't forget that they are always with you, by your side, and keeping you safe. There is always a reason for death,' so that's how I calmed myself down when Stromwing died, by thinking of her words..."

"Okay." She breathed. "But, it still hurts when a loved one dies."

Coldkit agreed with a nod. "It happens to everyone. I know how you feel..."

Darkkit put her head on his shoulder; for comfort.

"StarClan may be cruel sometimes, but all happens for a reason." Creamstripe mumbled quietly, in order to help herself cheer up. She saw Coldkit comforting Darkkit-- and smiled. I guess sometimes deaths sometimes bring us closer together, she thought.

"It must hurt to lose someone you love" Tornscar said

Sunnykit peered out of the nusery. "Minkfur!" She ran to her adopted father, and wailed at the sky. "I just got here! I thought I could be happy here! Why did you have to take him?!" She then collasped into a heap.

Coldkit stepped up to Sunnykit, glowering down at her. "Why should you care? You only knew him for a short time. He's not even your real father! You should let the ones who are actually his kin mourn for him," he hissed quietly, his hackles rising slightly. The words were sharp, as if his words were claws raking into a cat's back. Even though he kept himself quiet so no one else but him and Sunnykit could hear his comment, his eyes blazed with cold fire of a warning.

Sunnykit suddenly jumped up, eyes lit with greif and anger. "What do you know wha it's like to be abandoned, huh?" She screamed and lashed out at him

Bramblestar who was out in the forest arrived and saw Minkfur laying down on his side and the reek of death hit him, "No." he whispered then ran towards him. He put his nose in his fur and it was bitter cold. "Why so soon." he whispered a tiny tear going down his eyes. Minkfur was probably his best friend and Bramblestar had trained him. Now he was gone. He looked back up and turned around towards Creamstripe his eyes red but he didn't shed another tear. He saw that Sunnykit and Coldkit were arguing so he looked at Coldkit then at Sunnykit and grabbed her by the scruff gently and set her back down away from Coldkit so that they wouldn't start fighting. He then padded back to his den tail drooping and stayed there for a bit thinking.

Coldkit ducked with a growl. "I know how it is to have my mother die right in front of me, saving my life!" He snarled, shoving her hard with his shoulder.

"And I know what it's like to be abondoned, found, have two of my new family die, then have a denmate who is no better than a rouge because he can't accept new cats here to comfort me by saying I have no right to grieve!" Sunnykit answered, shoving back, hard.

Ic- Minkfur was now a ghost, he was in camp watching to kits. His body was faded, but he could still be seen, only the two kits could hear him "Guys, come on now. This is SkyClan, No fighting with one another..." He faded away to thin air

ic: Coldkit let out a snarl, shoving Sunnykit hard enough to knock her over. He placed a paw on her stomach, eyes flaming. "No better than a rogue? If I were a rogue, you'd be dead right now!" He hissed, pressing down harder but keeping his claws sheathed. "You are still a mewling kittypet to me, therefor why should I let you come near my uncle?!"

Creamstripe stared with cold eyes at Coldkit. "I watched my own mother die to save my life, killing the fox who killed her aunt. I'm not from SkyClan, you know." she hissed, looming over the kit. "Sunnykit is his daughter as of now. I'm from RiverClan," she growled. "Every cat has a right to grieve for any cat who dies." she hissed, picking the kit up by the scruff and setting him in the nursery. "How is she a kittypet when she was never owned by a Twoleg?! You are named correctly- a kit with a cold heart." Nobody had seen this side of Creamstripe before. Her eyes burned bright green, glowing in the gloom of fog.
