Seeing Again

Sootshadow looked at the oak tree. It felt like home to her, and she missed it dearly. She looked up into a branch, and noticed a bird. Her ears turned forward to listen to the bird, and it's song. Her eyes closed as she listened. When she was in Skyclan as an elder that was all she heard. She wasn't able to see, because of a Badger that had attacked her, and Gracestep. All the scars that she had when she died were gone. She opened her eyes and the bird was still there. She bunched her muscles into her hind legs, and jumped up onto the closest branch in the tree. She kept climbing into the tree not caring about scaring the bird she was just happy she could see again.
