Icekit's and Shinningkits Apprentice Ceremonie

butterflywing jumped up on tallrock "all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather here for a clan meeting" she called.

Icekit poked his head out of the nursery before bounding forward. Wow! A clan meeting, and I'm the first one out! I wonder what's going on? Is Wildstar back? No then he would be up there instead of mama. Oh well, maybe it's Stormpaw's warrior ceremony? Nah he's too young! He thought excitedly, thoughts buzzing through his head like busy bees.

Stormpaw limped from the apprentice den, his paws covered with moss. He head heard that Icekit and Shinningkit were becoming apprentice, so he was making nests for them, near each other of course, and he figured it was the best way to spend the time while he waited for his shoulder to heal, even thought it was turning into a scar now. He saw Icekit and smiled. "Hey, Icekit!" he purred, sitting down.

Icekit turned to look at Stormpaw. "Hey Stormpaw, is your shoulder any better? I wonder what the meeting is about..." He mewed, tilting his head.

Stormpaw glanced as his shoulder, sighing. "It doesn't hurt that much anymore, but it is turning into a scar," he sighed, shaking the moss from his paws. "Oh, and it's Shiningkit's and your apprentice ceremony. Didn't Butterflywing tell you that?"

Shiningkit walked out of the nursery, her grey and white fur was neatly groomed. She trotted over to her brother. "ya, why do you think I have my fur all groomed? Mama did it for me." She mewed

Stormpaw smiled at the kits, then noticed that Blackkit wasn't becoming an apprentice. "Do you guys know why Blackkit isn't becoming apprentices with you guys?"

Shiningkit opened her eyes wide with shock. "S-s-s-he isn't?" She asked

Stormpaw thought for a moment, and just sighed. "I didn't hear Butterflywing say anything about Blackkit becoming an apprentice...hm, who knows. I'll ask Butterflywing about it later, so don't worry."

Shiningkit bighted a little and turned her head to wait for others to post to gather.

Icekit gave a little jump. "Apprentices?! YES!" He yowled excitedly.

"we are gathered here today to make two kits apprentices" she said proud but sad that she couldn't at the time make blackkit an apprentice for a reason that only she and willowstream knew "Icekit, Shinningpaw step forward please" she said as she jumped down from tall rock.

Shiningkit bounded over to butterflywing.

Icekit stepped up proudly.

"from this day forward until you both become warriors You will be known as Icepaw and shinningpaw" she said looking down "Runningfoot you shall mentor shinningpaw I will mentor Icepaw" she said and touched noses with icepaw
