Sagepaw couldn't help but twitched his whiskers in amusement at her squealed excitement. "And Spiderpaw too." He glanced at Greypaw, his green eyes shining. "Your mother is Sandfur, right? Yeah, we all want to be great warriors like her... When you're six moons, you can be an apprentice too." he purred at Gingerkit.

ic- Greypaw flicked her tail over Gingerkit's ear gently. She glanced around to see Mosspaw, I guess.

Gingerkit spat as Greypaw's tail passed over her ears and slightly got into her face. Quickly, she moved out of Greypaw's reach, stumbling a little this way and that as she walked before both apprentices were sitting in her view. "I get to be an apprentice?" She asked childishly. "That's so cool! What do you guys get to do?"

"Help the elders with their ticks... Change the bedding..." Sagepaw smirked, naming off the worst aspects of being an apprentice. In reality though, it wasn't something that he minded at all, because it was a job needed to be done, he didn't mind teasing Gingerkit a little, though. "Oh, and then there is learning how to hunt and patrolling the border -- seeing entire forest. That's so boring, though." He waved a paw as if dismissing his last words, a smile on his face.

Greypaw rolled her eyes. " We learn how to fight, and we get our assesment. That's how you know you'll be a warrior soon." Greypaw meowed.

"Hunting? Patrolling? The assessment? That sounds so awesome!" She squeaked before giving Sagepaw a bothered look. "Why do you make it sound as if it's boring? Is getting rid of ticks and changing bedding better?"
