Showing the territory to Raven

butterflywing padded over to the apprentice den and poked her head in "ravenpaw come on we have a big day ahead of us." she said

Ravenpaw bounced out of the den, shaking away sleep from her mind. "What are we going to do?"

"you'll have to wake up to find out" she said padding toward the opening of the camp

Shaking her head again, Ravenaw raced after her.

"we will get food when we come back to camp" she said and headed off toward the riverclan border "we are going to see our territory today"

Ravenpaw nodded, her head bobbling. "Okay." she said, excited.

butterflywing picked up the pace to a quick walk so they could get to the riverclan border before sunhigh "even though our clan is part of riverclan and shadowclan we still mark our borders so when we do get our territory back we will know to defend this area." she said

Ravenpaw nodded slightly, understanding. "When will we get out territory back?" she asked softly.

"i dont know" butterflywing sighed "hopefully soon" she said and turned toward the gorge "this is one area that I expect you to not go to without a warrior" she said.

"Why not?" Ravenpaw asked, looking over the edge.

butterflywing grabbed her scruff and dragged her back "because its a long drop" she instructed and pushed her away and toward the thunderpath "I always expect unless you must never go toward the thunderpath, many cat have died here including one of my very good friends" she said.

Ravenpaw nodded, shrinkming back away from the Thunderpath. "It stinks" she hissed.

"its the monsters that craw across it faster than even windclan" she said "someday you will have to cross the thunderpath but that will be when your almost a warrior" she said.

"For what?" Ravenpaw asked her, confused.

"its tradition for the oldest apprentices before becoming warriors must travel to Highrock" she said turning back towards the camp.
