Greypaw comes back with two warriors bodies

OOC: heyheywhoawhoa wait... SEVEN SC CATS?! dude... I need to read more. That's.. that's just not right... there goes Shadowclan's future...

Shadowstar had been too busy thinking in her den that she had barely heard that Greypaw had come back. Padding out of her den, she stopped dead in her tracks when she saw the apprentice and Silentherb sitting over two bodies. "What... what in Starclan happened?!" She yowled as she darted over to see Darkfang and Nightclaw. "Who did this?" She demanded furiously. "I will kill whoever did this to my warriors!" By the time she was done talking, Shadowstar's voice had gone from a shocked tone to a shrill screaming sound.

"Scarletfire..." she meowed simply.

"Sc...Scarletfire?" Shadowstar repeated. The realization that she was the only one who could have done it hit her like a ton of bricks. Almost immediately, the leader's tail dropped into the dirt and her ears fell back on her head. She stood there motionless as her eyes gazed at something. At first, it looked as if she were staring at the edge of camp, but it was easily noticed that she truly wasn't looking at anything. She was just staring with her icy blue eyes. After what seemed like ages, Shadowstar started to move, but she only trembled. Her legs felt weak as if they were going to fall out from under her. "Scarletfire..." She whispered. "My own apprentice. What-what did I do wrong?" Her clouded stare slowly moved to look at the bodies once more as her face suddenly turned hard and emotionless. "They are with Starclan now. No sense in mourning for cats who are in a better place," She told Greypaw in a straight, monotonous tone.

She pressed up agains't Shadowstar too keep her up "Even though they're with Starclan we still mourn" she meowed her eye's gentle with sorrow in her eyes.

"If you say so," she responded quickly, nothing changing in the way she was standing. It was obvious that the trauma and shock of the situation had set something off inside of the leader, but it was as if it had disconnected her from the real world. For now, Shadowstar was lost inside her own mind; fighting her own conflicts inside her brain. Without giving it a second thought, she stabilized herself then turned back to her den. "You wouldn't mind sitting with them for the vigil tonight, would you Greypaw?" She asked, not even waiting for the apprentice to answer. She soon vanished back into her den without another word.

She nodded quickly and sat beside Nightclaw.
