Uh oh, Looks Like Willow Needs Some more Herbs..

It was an early, sunny morning in early newleaf. After taking a long walk around the territory to try and get in touch with Starclan, Willowstream had returned back to camp and was rechecking her herb supplies. She was surprised to find that she was out of marigold. The medicine cat figured she could just go look for some. Windclan's stock was near their border with Shadowclan, so she began the long journey.

Once she arrived, she found no herbs, only weeds and grass. Willowstream looked up to the bushes lining the Thunderpath. That was her only hope. She raced past Fourtrees, heading for the tunnel Shadowclan used to get to Gatherings. She had to build up her courage for a second before sprinting through the smelly pipe and emerging on the other side.

Nightclaw had been walked around the territory when he smelled Willowstream and he leapt into a tree and decided to watch her

Shadowstar had been out on a patrol in the early morning to check the border between Shadowclan and Thunderclan. With the dispute between whether or not the forest-dwellers should join the united clan or not, she couldn't take any chances in leaving that border be, lest they attack Shadowclan for trying to attack them. As she roamed the edge of the Thunderpath, her nose caught a smell of something new; something... windy. Being cautious, she lightly crept over to the source of the smell only to find Willowstream emerging from the underground tunnel. "A Windclan cat is here?" She questioned curiously without any kind of threat in the tone of her voice.

Nightclaw whispered from his place in the tree "Willowstream"

Being a medicine cat and not having the greatest skills in detecting others, Willowstream trotted on, following the scent of Shadowclan, which was growing stronger the deeper she went in the marsh. She wondered if it was normally this empty and barren, or if today was a lazy day.

Nightclaw plopped down behind Willow and meowed "Hello"

Sagekit scrambled up the top of Shadowstar's back, peeking his head out from on top of the ShadowClan leader's own. "She smells kinda' like Dawnpaw." he whispered to her.

Shadowstar glanced up at Sagekit as best as she could with him resting on her head. "Does she?" She asked him as she padded up to the strange medicine cat. "Greetings, Willowstream. What brings you here into Shadowclan territory?" She asked calmly.

Willowstream jumped when Nightclaw landed behind her, and started when Shadowstar appeared in front of her. She gulped, feeling suddenly frightened.
"Well, I've run out of marigold, and it hasn't grown back yet in my clan's territory," she mewed quietly, her shyness creeping into her behavior.

"Marigold?" The leader echoed. She knew the herb was quite useful but she had no idea what exactly its effects were. "Well, if you can find it here then go right ahead!" She mewed happily. "Since we are combined, what is ours is yours."

The medicine cat's green eyes widened in surprise, but she nodded.
"T-thank you," she mewed, relaxing slightly. "Do you know where I might find some? Or perhaps I could speak with Tawnyfur or Dawnpaw?"

Dawnpaw came dashing out of the bushes in a rush, "Sage-" She stopped when she saw Shadowstar. Nightclaw, Sagekit, and Williowstream. "Oh Greetings Williowstream, what might I do for you?" She asked

Relieved to see another medicine cat, Willowstream relaxed completely and her face brightened.
"I was wondering where I might find some marigold," she said.

"Oh follow me!" She mewed with a joyous tone. She walked back into the bushes to lead Williwostream to the marigold.

Sagekit stared around in complete amazement. What on earth just happened? "My mama always told us that each clan had to protect what they had and watch the border... How come you just let her pass?" he asked in bewilderment.
