Sitting...

Nightclaw sat on a tall pile of trash as he threw his paw on top of a mouse which had cherry coke all over it Nightclaw smelled it then threw it down the pile "You nasty things, why live here?"

Shadowstar had unknowingly followed Nightclaw into Carrionplace. She had a lot on her mind with the entire situation between Shadowclan and Riverclan against Thunderclan, and her paws had simply taken her here. It was only when the horrid stench of rotten garbage hit her nose did she snap out of her daze. She quickly looked up to see the newest warrior of Shadowclan. "Greetings, Nightclaw," She mewed.

NIghtclaw looked over and saw Shadowstar and dipped his head in greeting "Hello Shadowstar

"What are you doing out here?" She asked him curiously as she sat down next to him. She had rarely been here but there was a certain reason for that. Rats dominated this place and in numbers they were dangerous.

"Just thinking" he meowed

Shadowstar respected that. "About what exactly, if you don't mind me asking?" She replied, feeling the same way. There was so much to think about in so little time.

"Just everything that's going on and how different it is" he meowed

She nodded in agreement. "I know exactly what you mean. Things are changing, but I can't tell if it's for the better or for the worst..." She muttered sadly.

"You'll make the right choice" he meowed "I don't really like the idea of the united Clans

She looked at the new warrior, her eyes bleak but still filled with a little bit of wonder. "May I ask why that is?" She paused for a few moments. "Not that don't approve of your choice, I just want to hear the voice of my clan," She said, reassuring him.

"Well...I don't see the reason, all the Clans are doing well and have no need to unite..." he meowed

She took that into consideration. "I see where you are coming from," she meowed. "My only concern for us not to unite is the possibility of something going completely awry in the clans, and if we aren't united then it could destroy us all." She took a deep breath. "I guess I'm just over-thinking this, but I just don't want anything bad to happen to Shadowclan while I am leader, and if the clans are united, not only would food never go short even in Leafbare, but if disease were to sweep through the area, we would have not one or two, but four to eight medicine cats helping to cure it."

"True..." he meowed

"So, I guess for me, it's all about keeping everyone safe. I don't want to have the rivalries between the clans. It only leads to hate and bloodshed like we experienced in the invasion on Thunderclan. I just want to do what is best for all of the cats... not just Shadowclan." She then looked up at the sky, her mind wandering off to the memories of all of the cats she had lost in her lifetime that she was very close to. After a few minutes of silence, she let out a soft mrrow of laughter. "I'm sorry. I'm probably boring you right now."

"No your not I completely understand" he meowed
