After they were a distance from the camp, Rainpaw sniffed the air, trying to catch the scent of prey. Finally, she caught the scent of mouse over by a tree. She got down into a crouch and nodded in the direction of the prey to let Bramblepaw know where it was if he hadn't scented it already.

Bramblepaw nodded back understandingly and caught the scent of a mouse near another tree close to Rainpaw's. He crouched down and nodded to the direction of the other tree to let Rainpaw know there was another animal nearby.
