Sparrow getting pwned for the sake of Silent. C:

Sparrowflight yawned, resting on Sunningrocks, taking advantage of the sunny day in the middle of leaf-bare, the remains of her freshly caught fish not too far aside. Though, she was quite content sitting there, she was restless.

Cue Duskkkky. :D

Duskfur was on her morning walk. She hadn't done that for a while- and she needed some time to think, she was looking at her paws as she walked, no idea where she had been going. Soon, she was in the sunlight, on rocks- Sunningrocks. Duskfur was about to turn around when...

The RiverClan warrior flicked her ears before flattening them all together, the breeze caring the sharp scent of ThunderClan over the rocks. Sparrowflight felt the fur on her neck bristle and she sprung on her feet, quickly dashing across the landscape and making a leap for the enemy warrior.
With a yowl, she gripped onto the deputy with her claws, dragging Duskfur to the ground and attempting to rake the side of the she-cat; She was trying to take advantage of the surprise attack as much as she could in a frenzied manner.

Duskfur was knocked on her side- completely out of breath. She was dazed. Then- she let her instincts take over. Duskfur screached and rolled over, trying to get under the she-cat so she could unshleath her claws to Sparrowflight's soft underbelly.




Cue Ebbbyyyyyyyy.

The tabby let out a screech of pain as her bally was attacked, feeling an all too or not so. >.< familiar sharp sting beginning in streaks down her body. Before letting go, she nipped at Duskfur's ears; which if she tore them, a heavy, but no-so-harmful, amount of blood would leak out and unto her face, if only to scare the queen into retreating by the vast amount of red.
She rolled over again as well and tore herself away, losing a few clumps of fur in the process I'm sure. She started to circle around the deputy, though leaving her space to flee back into the forest, she was hissing and her back was arched.

cue dusky. :D

Duskfur spat at the warrior, "What... are you... doing!?! I was.... just turning... around..." Duskfur hissed and growled. Someone was going to launch- and it wasn't going to be Sparrowflight. She ran into the warrior, blowing her over. Duskfur waited to see if the she-cat would get up.



Cue Ebbyyy. c:

Sparrowflight let out a hiss in retaliation, for it was all there was time for before Duskfur rammed into her, she tried to take advantage and land a blow to the she-cat's head before bowling over and getting back up shakily. The damage to her belly was taking it's toll. Always the soft underbelly... don't want our guts falling out, do we? D;
"You trespassed on my land, ThunderClan filth. Didn't think you'd get away with it without a few scars, did you?" she hid a huff or two with a growl and leapt back on the warrior, attempting to grab unto her scruff, and if once succeeding, shaking Duskfur's head violently, though her grip on the deputy herself was very lose, only hanging on my her claws; not to mention she couldn't support Sparrowflight's weight for long, though, she did feel satisfied by feeling some liquid warmth on her paws.

Duskfur hissed and kicked her legs in all directions. She kicked Sparrowflight in the chest as many times as she could before she let her go. After she fell onto the warm rocks, she tried to turn around. She began turning, but just then, she heard a screech that could not be ignored.


CUE EBBY AND SLEEPY.

Sleepystar had wandered upon the scene, and bounded out of the reeds. Swimming across the river he finally reached Sunningrocks with a battle yowl. Noticing Duskfur's already injured ear, he swiped at it, hoping for a message to be sent to the ThunderClan deputy that she couldn't stay any longer.

Sparrowflight stared the warrior down, fighting the urge to flee into the undergrowth when she heard a familiar yowl; her eyes instantly brightened with Sleepystar bounded into the clearing and swiped at Duskfur's... ear? Ohshet.

Ohshet is right. Duskfur screeched and fled back into the forest- Not planning to return again anytime soon. But, she was proud in a way. She took on a warrior- her first battle in a long time. When she got back into the forest, she went to the Great Sycamore- her favorite spot, and lay to sleep.



LE END OF FELINE COMBAT.

Sparrowflight was proud in a way too... She took on the ThunderClan deputy! And lived! 8D
She felt more alive then she did in a long time, though, that didn't stop her from regaining her breath and trying to calm herself; now that the adrenaline was leaving, a lot more scratches and pains were making themselves apparent up and down her body. "Thank you," she muttered to her leader, "You came just in time."

CUE SILENT? :D

Silentpaw came bounded toward the river, a bundle of Horsetail in her mouth. "What happened?" she gasped as she slid into the water, careful not to drop her herbs. "I heard yowling when I was looking for herbs." As she reached land, she flicked her ears at Sparrowflight. "Oh, you're hurt!" she gasped as she turned to Sleepystar. "Can you go find some Cobwebs for Sparrowflight's wounds, please, Sleepystar?" she asked.

Sleepystar sighed, before walking off silently to look for the webs, leaving the warrior and the medicine cat apprentice alone.

"That was Duskfur, the deputy wasn't it?" Sparrowflight asked Silentpaw, a little childishly as Sleepystar padded off, wincing a bit. "She won't be back here for a good bit." the she-cat purred at her niece.
