Runnings assesment

Butterflywing waited out side the camp knowing runningpaw wouldn't be to far behind

Runningpaw rushed to make herself presentable to her mother. She knew that they would be doing something fun or exciting today.

"ok you will go off hunting along today unless you smell sOmeone from another clan pay no attention" she said thinking of the best time she should test her fighting skills "go and be back here by sunhigh"

Runningpaw nodded and broke away from her mother. First she stopped to try and scent any prey that was near by. A rabbit's strong scent filled her body. As soon as it did, she was locked to the scent. She tracked it, until she spotted it. The she-cat stopped and quickly got down into the hunting position that her mother had taught her. Runningpaw's leg muscles bunched up and she pounced. Being that the rabbit was more like a baby it wasn't hard to quickly kill it. The WindClan cat look around to see if there was any place that she could safely hide her kill.

butterflywing scented before following her daughter and stayed downwind from her. she saw as she caught the rabbit and purred silently.

Digging up a small hole, Runningpaw laid the fresh-kill in the hole. Pushing dirt of the meat and took off once more. This time a mouse caught her attention. She crept towards the scent and found where it was hiding. In a long patch of grass, Runningpaw crouched down and launched herself at the patch of grass. She fought for the furry little body. She raised her paw to see that she had caught nothing but moss. Hearing a squeak, she turned her head quickly to see the stupid little thing running for cover.

Butterflywing nodded to herself "nice try" she thought to herself and continued to follow.
