Gathering; October 2011 + Plot Part #7

alright let's get this show on the road...

"You have all suffered greatly..." a fragile voice called out to the clearing, though where it had come from, no one could really pin-point. "I am so sorry. This could have been prevented... There would be no loss... if only you had listened..."

Potatofrost harhar wildly looked around, but couldnt find the source.

Tawnypaw looked around to see who was making the noise

Deadstar had no doubts about who the mystery voice was. It was Furion; a strange outsider that had made an irritable disruption at the last Gathering. This time, however, he didn't have the energy to argue or even throw an insult, so he simply huffed out another small cloud of smoke.

Scarletpaw glanced around. "We could have prevented this?" she whispered to Goldpaw. "Yeah, right. This cat is totally mouse-brained, huh?" She nudged the tom, hoping he would agree.

ooc- There was smoke already, or u no care Skyclan waas here fiiirst?

ic- Stripedspine lashed his tail. I won't believe him AGIAN!

Shadowpaw sat looking around for dark paw quietly.

"The Council has watched the clans from generation after generation, it is the duty of our lives to watch over the clans when the stars are quiet... tonight, they are beyond quiet. They are fallen. Gone. You have suffered greatly, these disasters were almost inevitable, though... as I promised you at the last full moon, Fourtrees has been untouched by this madness. Thank my children for this, who are guarding this place spiritually and physically as you all stand here." There was a pause. "Until the stars can be retrieved again, you will follow under our rule. A new time has come, and you must accept this fate if you, and your ancestors, are to survive."

"Who cares about Starclan," Stripedspine snarled. "They are just dead cats, who think they are wise for dieing!"

Moonfrost glanced at Stripedspine, then turned back to Furion quickly. " And why exactly most we to follow under your rule, may I ask?" She yowled calmly above the cries of the crowd. " How are you and your children going to lead us, if there's a massive amount of clan cats who disagree?"

"And if that's not enough," Called Silversoul, who had been silent untill then. "how can your children possibly guard us against the terrible winds and water and fire by themselves? If it was not StarClan, then by all means it was certainly not them."

"Let's just say... Everything that your StarClan knows... that made you what you are today... what made this world, was done by the council. We, as well as our ancestors, have watched over you clans for a very long time..." He paused, turning his address to the ThunderClan deputy. "This has not been caused by StarClan, nor by us, but by those who have been banished from the ranks of the clans... those who live in the darkest of forests. They have chased your StarClan away and caused these disasters, and only we can stop it, and I'm afraid... for your own good, you have no choice but to agree... We can't afford any lives lost..." The elder tom stepped out, appearing at the top of the awesome-rocks.

"I won't agree you mange-pelted verom!" Stripedspine snarled, exteneding long curved, white claws.

Rainpaw kept to herself, still listening into the conversation..
Oh man. what. is. happening. she thought, silently.
She finally spoke up. "We cant solve this by arguing!" Though her voice was drowned out.

Why would anyone do that!? she thought, her tail lashing with anger. And most importantly, HOW can anyone do that? She looked at Goldpaw.
