Herb hunting with a twist

Brightstorm eyes flicked over the clearing, there were few herbs but she had to search. She padded closer to the fallen tree and spotted some catmint. She needed to restock because of all the warriors getting into it.

Cat mint was Envyshadows favorite. He figured out how to take them by the root and replant them by his den. As he crawled out to feach some, he heard a cat comming. Bolting back into his den, he saw it was the Skyclan medicen cat, Brightstorm.

Brightstorm heard rustling and tossed her head towards a gap in the tree. She cocked her head and reached down to pick a few leaves but she couldn't get the sound out of her head so she meowed,"Hello anyone here".

Envyshadow walked deeper into the den. He had already been found by Stripedspine, getting found by the medicen cat, was loss of his den for sure. The den still smelled a lot like fox, it would be hard to smell a cat if one stuck their nose in here. So naturally, like the smart @$$ Envyshadow was, he made a low growling sound like a fox. Attempting to trick Brightstorm into running away. Envyshadow was quite foxlike after all.

Brightstorm almost jumped when she heard the growling, but she couldn't hear the gruffness a fox would make. "Stonestar, is that you",she said a bit worried but standing her ground.

As spit built up in his mouth, his growl got gruffer and louder. "Stoenstar, bah!" he though. since their was no way to act as Stonestar, he continued growling.

Brightstorm started to pad away, a bit scared now. She took fast steps but realized she had forgotten the catmint,Stupid Stripedspine if it wasn't for him i wouldn't be in this mess. She took unsure steps back to it, almost there, she grabbed it in ther teeth, but not before letting a rock the side of her head, fall in the den.

She must be getting the catmint.. he thought. Just in case, he rolled in the piles of dirt (real dirt not poop) masking himself with not only the smell of fox, but the look of one. At the same moment he heard something enter his den. Bolting out he realised Brightstorm wasnt in his den, but by his catmint suppliy. Spitting and growling as he had seen fox do, he swiftly moved torwards her, carefull to mimic the movements of a fox. Since his body structure was built like a foxes, he already had that part down.

Brightstorm turned around swiftly and hissed. Her claws came out and she looked at the "fox" with anger. There was something diffrent about it, it looked little like one, but she didn't care. She was going to have to use the moves her brother showed her.

Envyshadow opened his mouth to sneer at her, but remembered fox don't speak cat language. Insted he let out an annoyed yowl and came at her from the side.

Brightstorm hissed and leaped at him, trying to claw out his eyes. The she-cat held on with hind legs. She tried to defend herself being smaller than him.

Dodging swiftly, Envyshadow had trouble keeping up with the fast movment a fox makes. He made small trips with his feet before catching himself and jumped onto Brightstorm, clawing her shoulders and flank.
