Snakebite's head whipped to the side as he felt the blood flow down his eye. He looked at his brother with his one blue eye and let out a sigh of relief. "At least I didn't have to do it myself",he whispered. He tried to open his eye but saw only black. He took one last look and turned around and bounded away.

Envypaw got up, panting heavily. He watched his brother run away but before he was out of ear shot, he said something that hasn't been said since their kithood. "I love you, brother." He called, his voice getting quieter as Snakebite bounded away. He turned around and begen to walk "It had to be done at some point."
