"Thank you."he purred,bringing the one plump mice.

Rosepaw purred again. "You are a clever cat. But you should practise catching voles. you know, fish aren't that bad either," she added.

"I'll try to catch a vole."he nosed the mouse toward her."You can have it."



He stalked a vole.As soon as it saw him he passed.

Rosepaw ate the mouse. "Thank you, Manypaw," she meowed. "Can you teach me to hunt?" she asked.

"Sure."he purred.He crouchted down,tail stuck out,lick a stick,not miving.All his wait was on his haunches and his forepaws tucked under hime."Get like this."he mewed.

Rosepaw imitated Manypaw. She did it well, but not perfectly.

"Good."he purred.He flicked his tail to a mouse."Stalk,like I did.Then when your a leap away,pounce on it."

"Alright," meowed Rosepaw, seeing a mouse. She stalked it like Manypaw said to. She missed. "Oh well. Everything takes practice," she mewed.
